Coach on the rise: Kevin Keatts

Kevin Keatts is a former Pitino Assistant and Hargrove Military Academy Assistant who is now in his third season as head coach of UNC Wilmington.

Although Wilmington has had a good program in the past, including while Brad Brownell (current Clemson coach) was there, Keatts has now taken a team that hadn't finished higher than 7th in the 6 previous seasons, and won 3 straight conference titles and will now enjoy a second consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament.

I just thought it would be worth mentioning a coach who's stock is probably on the rise in the next couple of years. It will be interesting to see how long he stays at UNC Wilmington.

NC St would love to get Archie Miller, but I think Keatts would be a good fit. Plus I hope we get Miller...
