And Musk's ability to leverage the federal government to his financial benefit, as well as his overall influence, will only grow as Trump gets even older, less focused, less interested and less engaged.

Hell...start with colleges. Eliminate all the bullshit administrative leeches (cough) and marketing "chicks" (double cough) to the bare minimum, cut the vanity overhead costs, and make a school like Indiana relatively affordable for an in-state kid again.
What are the 'good' subsidies you'd consider keeping? There are actually ones I'm greatly in favor of reducing, removing and/or redirecting, but I'm genuinely curious about where your non-negotiable line is drawn here.
