CBS Top 100

I hit 81 out of 100 threes the other night. No one was guarding me. It took me about 30 minutes (i had to stop and rest about half way through).

Mgbako had people guarding him closely. Purdue's players have never had to face that while at Purdue.
exactly!
when you are wide open a pure shooter knocks down much better than 44%. Loyer will likely struggle with pressure. And zone defenses leave wide open shots all the time.
(i like Smith and expect he will have a productive season...bad for p-u if he doesnt)

RPI is currently at 20. Should be in tournament again. PU, well they do have that women's BB banner to write home about, but that is it.
Don't they have the Hellman's Mayonaise banner for some thing or another? Ord/Jackskip/kern always claimed it was more legit than three of IU's banners.

Mgbako is a better outside shooter than anyone on Purdue roster.... That's a interesting observation care to elaborate more? Mgbako is a talented player and should improve. Not asking much to to get better than 32% he shot last year from 3 don't you think? Purdue's guards(including Colvin) all shot over 40% from 3 point line last year.

Careful what you write Billy Madison
Lets see how Moze does when he is guarded.

Muscle memory. It’s kind of like how I still know how to beat all the boxers in Mike Tyson’s punch out… hundreds of thousands of reps mean I’ll be able to make 3 pointers as long as my arms work and I’m able to stand.

If I was guarded as closely as Mgbako usually is I would be lucky to make 20 out of 100. If I had to move to get to my shots, that number probably goes pretty close to 0.

Michigan has worse guards and is going to play with two bigs who can't play away from the basket that are worse than Ballo/Reneau.
Well Michigan in their tune-up with a good Oakland team in Detroit shot 43% from three making 15 threes! Donaldson who played at Auburn, showed he will be one of the best PGs in the country. Their bigs (you said can't play away from the basket)
made 7 of the 15 threes! Michigan is going to be good!

You need a hobby.

You need a hobby.
Plenty of hobbies, golf, woodworking, yard work, traveling, refinishing old furniture, and reading the good book!
I try to read IU comics every chance I get! But I like to study the ins and outs of college basketball, stats, team schedules and coaching philosophies! I used to coach basketball and played one year of college ball. Love the sport! Thank You!

What seems evident is that your only hobby is posting dumb takes on IU's board.

how old are you? I have a shoulder injury (I'm sure it's a rotator cuff) that makes shooting from any distance, even FTs, a lot harder. It's weaker, but also like a mechanical "catch" and I just can't control the ball nearly as well. I can still shoot FTs OK, but not nearly as well and they just come out flat. When it was really bad, I'd try and shoot normally and the ball would only go a few feet. At least I haven't had the "other" dysfunction a lot of older guys get!

Have you ever tried FT golf? I always tried to get the kids I coached to play it between practices and would see who had the best score. You shoot 18 FTs, and a swish (absolutely no rim) is a birdie, a make w any rim is a par and a miss is a bogey. I'm guessing you can get to double digits under par. I think my best ever was -9. It really is a great drill because you'll be kind of frustrated that you aren't scoring very well and then realize you made like 16 of 18 FTs. Helps way more of your off shots still be makes.
