My first, last and only political comment since I’ve been coming here: when you people get as old as me you’ll realize there are no “parties” and all the politicians are liars and most are crooks who are self-serving.
Why did the Secret Service escort Pence out of the capital? OH yea, trump invited him to dinner. Why did he wait 3 whole hours before he called his minions to stop? Why did he tell the oathkeepers and the proud boys? to stand by.
Why do continue to ignore my requests for links? I’d truly like to learn more.
Or maybe you could take the time to flesh out some of these events for us yourself.

Politicians suck and only care about themselves. They don't care about the average person only about power and money for themselves. The fringe of both parties is extreme and have too much influence on the total legislative arm of government.
Term limits and or them not having the ability to vote their own raises and benefits would save the country a lot of money. The bill process and amendments to any bill are why so much crap gets stuffed into any bill. Recent examples of both parties' bills on immigration still don't do almost anything to truly secure the border or provide a system for legal immigration that has sustained this country since inception. They both want to use it for political leverage and not solving it because they both use it to incite their base.
