This thread, and that people are still fking seriously infatuated with Brady's balls, makes me hate humanity just that much more. I will no longer call myself a fan of any sport. Yeah, it's really hard to explain away destroying his phone. Even Florio is all, "WTF, Tom?" and called out Brady's lawyers for letting him do that.
You are correct on two points.
1. This format sucks horribly.
2. TOHG (whom I've griped at previously) does not enforce all the available rules when his buddies or particular friends hijack specific threads with lengthy responses (including but not limited to thousands of blank spaces/lines or movies of irrelevant pimple-popping).
NOTE TO Goat: You're usually reasonably rational (give or take a percentage point) but there's a big difference between allowing free speech on any topic whatsoever and allowing certain posters to hijack threads because they and their pseudo-political or pseudo-scientific rants disagree with someone else's free speech. Allowing threads to be hijacked is not the same as allowing free speech, and I lay that at your doorstep. Have a beer first and then blast me. I know I'm right so I don't care.
I really don't know what you're talking about. I get rid of nipples when I see them, and that's about it. I did once go in and delete a whole bunch of Phish's posts when he was bumping a bunch of old threads just to be annoying. And I deleted OS's use of the Bad C Word a few times. And I deleted a few posts a while back that were causing headaches with the whole Aruss funeral/wife/fancy car thing. I can't remember ever doing any other modding other than that.

The reason I deleted TMP's and Phish's trolling was because it made the board harder to read. I was just doing, I thought, everyone a favor. But general trolling has always been expected and even celebrated a bit here.
My main job around here is just to replace nipples with pictures of Lana Kane:
On the rare occasion I put in any effort above and beyond that, I'm only doing it as a service to the board to improve readability.

Hence the “they have all of the phone records they asked for” comment by the NFLPA. Then the NFL changed their tune and wanted the phone itself in their hot little hands.

Your argument doesn't matter, though. Destroying his phone doomed any chances Brady has of winning in court. The only reason for them to fight this in court at this point is to drag it out as long as possible on the off chance they can delay his suspension until after he retires.

Like I said. Doesn't matter at this point. Brady not sharing his phone is irrelevant now. The fact that he destroyed it makes it practically impossible for him to win in court. Short of his lawyer getting the Rog to go on the stand and admit he ordered the code red, there is nothing that can win this for Brady.

But one detail might be helpful. If you read the ~ 20 page ruling by the NFL (available on NFL.com), it appears to document that Brady only destroyed one of his phones -- his "current" phone, but not the phone he was using previously -- while claiming his practice was to automatically destroy his previous phone when he replaced it with a new one. So, maybe Brady doesn't always destroy his old phones as he claims, according to the NFL.

I only did that once, and recieved 15 hurtful messages in my flag, A flag is supposed to be a good kind thing but mine was hurtful and calling me names. *sniff* ....
I deleted them as a group. I didn't know the Rivals system would send you a flag for every single post in the group. I wonder if they fixed that in one of the recent "updates."
