What's implemented is immaterial to the bait and switch that he pulled. That moderates and republicans blocked his agenda has nothing to do with the bait and switch. He didn't get his way. That doesn't speak to what he wanted, which wasn't what people expected from a supposed moderate when he ran.

Biden's issue is the post pandemic economic hangover is a president killer....and he doesn't have the personality, especially at his age, to be able to navigate it.
So he looks weak, old and ineffective while every week people get reminded at least twice how bad this inflationary post pandemic period is when they go grocery shopping or get gas.
This is a president killing economy.
Biden can't do much to stop it which makes him look weak.
Biden doesn't have the charismatic personality to deflect blame....so again he looks weak.

Don't kid yourself, the pubs have no ideas or solutions. They've shot down and refused any potential legislative relief efforts because that's what they do....they eliminate the fire department and then complain that the houses are burning down.
Biden is not the guy who can effectively navigate in that kind of environment, especially at his age. He needed Covid to fade away and the hangover to be small. Then coast on....
1. Removing Trump
2. Getting the country back to work.
3. Get us back to a fairly normal political environment.
He's got the personality to do that. He doesn't have the personality to navigate the economy going off the rails. Very few do, especially THIS economy but Biden absolutely doesn't.

As a older person we sometimes are referred to as a statesman.
It can be difficult to maintain the title of "statesman", which at one point in your life may have been deserved, when your not sure what day it is.
We former statesman learn to hide our lack of cognitive deficiencies in different ways. Trump has his style, and Biden has his.
Getting behind either Trump or Biden is doing harm to both of them and the country IMO.

They were bad bills...particularly the gas gouging bill. It would have helped nothing, in fact, it probably would have exacerbated the problem.
Look into the mirror and you see who buys into propaganda too much. I research and don't rely on the MSM because they are too biased any more. But keep telling yourself you know the truth.

He made the mistake of selling his soul and his presidency to the progressives, rather than just being the center- left guy he was for decades.

What moral compass are we discussing? You are opining on Trump's or you wouldn't have brought it up. Do I give a damn if a president is a womanizer? presidents have been having affairs long before Trump was in office and I know of no affairs while he was in office. FDR had a mistress, The Kennedy's? JFK was only one that was president but that whole family. Clinton, I'm sure many others. No, I could care less about a president's personal life. Hell catholic priests don't have a great track record on moral compasses. What I care about is doing their job. At least doesn't have a history of sneaking up from behind on children and doing creepy stuff and smelling their hair.
Unfortunately in today's world I really do not trust any of them. some are worse then others. i will watch and read news/opinions from both sides see if they agree on anything. I have read books from people on both sides. I will decide my opinion on if i feel it benefits or hurts the American people and what effect it has on the world. It's not perfect but everyone puts out stories to fit their narrative.
WE hire a president to run an economy, among many other things, that directly effects and directs the entire globe. I want that person to put US first and with that, bring our friends along to reap the rewards. I could care less of he was to get a Kamalalala job in the oval, or call Jim Acosta a Corksucker. I want him to lead through strength, remove barriers for all Americans, ESPECIALLY the entrepreneurial middle and lower class that have SO much potential that only needs a mentor that will help them.
Moral compass, meh. go to confession, become an adviser, be a mentor to those that haven't achieved their potential. YOU (and that is a collective you, not a you you) be a part of something uplifting, be a part of the answers, not the questions.

It's going to take years for anyone to fix. Just one thing though...it's not a president killing economy. It's a president killing the economy. His policies are directly to blame for the vast majority of the economic issues. He let's the squad and the like minded environmental cult shape and form his policies. Killing the oil industry is a surefire way to make the entire country take a step or 2 down the financial ladder. Just another way to gain more power,and all in the name of "saving the planet". Make more people dependent on the government and its easier to force them to do what you want. Dems did it with minorities in the 60's,70's and 80's,and now they are trying it on the entire country,while using those minorities' hopes of change to get elected. It's a disgraceful group of people.
