The 2012 polls showed nothing of the sort. They showed that Obama was going to win, and he did. Very much precisely as the polls predicted. Of course, I voted for Romney, but I suspect a large number of "Republicans" who bitched about Obama for the next four years didn't vote at all. Wouldn't be surprised if you were one of those.
