Had a few good ones out west a couple of weeks ago.
Had a few Pliny the Elders over the course of the week and always enjoy them.
Hellmouth, an Imperial IPA from Ghost Town Brewing in Oakland was delicious. Leaned toward tart with lots of grapefruit.
The Cryonic 2023 from Del Cielo Brewing in Martinez CA. Big American IPA with an earthy dry front end and lots of malt and hops after that.
Those are the ones that stood out. Had offerings from Drake's and Original Pattern that were pretty good too.
Mrs. hooky had a sour that was incredible. Had I not been on an IPA Bender, I would have settled in on that. Blackberry Jam by Wild Barrel Brewing. 8+% made with blackberries black currants and Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans. Probably one of the top 5 sours I've ever sampled.

With Larry selling the business, I wonder if some of the seasonal lineup is being whittled down? I didn't see Expedition Stout last year.
Hopefully they whittle others as opposed to those two. If that is what is going on
BA has that stuff rated at 85 and Untapped has it at 3.5. I have no idea who is drinking it and rating it so high. I'd rather drink a warm miller lite than that stuff.
New here and super excited to talk about my favorite brews with you all. Lately, I've been obsessed with this amazing IPA from a local brewery - seriously, it's so good! But, I've also been experimenting with making my own wine using DIY kits. It's been a lot of fun and I've actually had some success with it. I’ll have to try this, but you need to try Revision Disco Ninja. Really good beer! I prefer California style IPA to New England Hazy’s, but I’ve liked every Revision IPA I’ve had. Cheers!

Into the Wild Sour: Peach Plum & Papaya by Guggman Haus
Tasty, but not quite as good as the Capy Snacks. 7.2% ABV with a little funk to go with the fruit.

That was a great commercial, but to be fair, they should have also said "Don't hop the beer". I think the big boys basically wave a picture of hops over the kettle and call it a day.
Full disclosure: I drank about 40 Miller lites over 5 days of fishing last Thursday through Monday along with a bunch Founders All Day and Rhinegeist Truth.
Yeeckkk. Miller light is headache water. I use it for brats and only brats. 😝
Good boat beer. Out of all the light beers, it's the one I'll drink.
We got off the water one afternoon when it was pushing into the high 80s without a cloud in the sky and went to a local watering hole. I ordered an ice water and Natural Light (only other draft was Coors Light) and I think the ice water was more flavorful than that Natty Light.
