What’s to investigate? Everybody knows what happened. The DOD IG is now investigating Hegseth as Signal is not permitted in DOD.
Lol how about for starters why they were using the signal app for confidential info in the first place. What’s to investigate? Everybody knows what happened.
The open question is what to do about it. The IG has nothing to do with that.
That’s interesting and problematic. Clearly something that can inadvertently happen but mustn’t happen. There have to be guard rails for this.
Gotta walk this back. Here is how Goldberg’s number got mixed up in this.Waltz lied. And he pulled a really stupid move. He’s toast. Forming a contrary opinion is a different thing. This isn’t that.

Exclusive: how the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg got added to the White House Signal group chat
Internal investigation cleared the national security adviser Mike Waltz, but the mistake was months in the makingwww.theguardian.com
Less nefarious than I feared, thankfully. Waltz just effed up, he (or someone before him) isn't a mole.Gotta walk this back. Here is how Goldberg’s number got mixed up in this.

Iphones will scan numbers in a contact and ask you if you want to auto update new info. I've had it happen before. I still have a few contacts on my phone that got switched somehow and I forget to change them.Less nefarious than I feared, thankfully. Waltz just effed up, he (or someone before him) isn't a mole.
Do Iphone's auto-merge numbers like he mentioned, or is that BS, and he simply saved Goldberg's info to the wrong contact?
Jesus, what a mistake. I'll actually give Goldberg credit for slow-playing and kinda minimizing the damage. He HAD to think he was getting setup by some Jr High version of "telephone".![]()
Is this part of "Apple intelligence"?Iphones will scan numbers in a contact and ask you if you want to auto update new info. I've had it happen before. I still have a few contacts on my phone that got switched somehow and I forget to change them.
It's not new. Happened to me when I switched to an iPhone about 4 years ago.Is this part of "Apple intelligence"?

Liquidation bin store? What’s that? Like storage wars?True story... I sometimes go to this liquidation bin store where they buy up pallets, then throw all the shit in them in bins and roll them out and then charge X amount depending on the day. They're all in boxes, sometimes you can see what they are, sometimes you can't tell by the tag. They are also damaged or returned items, so they're not guaranteed to work.
Last winter I went and looked down and picked up a box and it said Samsung S21 on the box. You're not allowed to open anything there, so I couldn't tell for sure if it was in there, but it had weight to it do I l knew I was at least getting a charger.
I got it home and the ****er was actually in there, unlocked, ready to go. We threw in her Sim card and it booted right up. Paid $8 plus tax for that beauty.
Best find I've gotten so far.
I think it's code for "I broke into somebody's house."Liquidation bin store? What’s that? Like storage wars?

that's the craziest shit i've ever heard. i'm surprised i haven't seen it on instagram. so does the "owner" know what he's bought from target? i'm missing something here. it's not repackaged. so if there's a thomas the train set that you know is $40 it'll be the thomas the train set that he bought at a discount and then is re-selling in this scenario with a mark up?The owner around here buys up return pallets from Amazon, Target, Kohl, Home Depot and a few other places and then throws the items into big bins and charges like 10 bucks an item the first day the items are out, $8 the next, $6 and then it keeps going down until they take a day off to refill them so they can start the new week over.
It's kind of like storage wars in that you don't always know what's in a box or if what your buying will actually work. All sales are final, so if you buy something that doesn't work, tough shit. Bought a $200 coffee maker.. dealer then a door nail. I bought a box that I thought was a humidifier and it turned out to be a home charging station for electric cars. Sold it on e-bay for like $120.
It's kind of fun to see what you can find.
