Atlantic just released all the texts this a.m. and it is not good

Our babies would be beautiful.

Many years ago my sister, upon becoming pregnant with her 4th, 5th or 6th child (can't remember), prompted my mother to ask "You are aware how this is happening, right?"

My sister, deadass, said "Yes, tequila"

I literally laughed out loud when my mother told me this and appreciated my sister's smartass response.

But as to your situation:

Incredible they made this shift shortly after it was reported that Trump was secretly pissed with Waltz. It's almost like they can't form their own opinions, or something outrageous like that.
All that’s necessary is to watch dbm’s rapidly changing positions on any issue and you’ll know what MAGA world is going to say.

However, I said it earlier, it’s likely Waltz will be the scapegoat and the guy who actually injected the classified strike mission information will be protected.

Perhaps one of the 18 high-level government officials should have said something like “hey, maybe we shouldn’t be having this discussion on a commercial messaging app” when the classified information started flying.
Two issues. What was appropriate for the reporter to do. We have a difference of opinion there

With respect to the gov actors I don’t see how you don’t fire them after the last month of shitcanning fed ees under the guise of poor performance. This is as poor as it gets. Gross negligence

OK, so he obviously knows the dude, and probably had his number in his contacts.

Waltz needs to come clean on who me was intending to invite when he added "JG".

If they were chummy, I doubt Goldberg would blow up his source like he has.

Who wasn't on the chat, that was supposed to be instead of Goldberg? Should be pretty easy to pin down.
Judy Garland? Josh Groban? Jon Gruden?

Fire his ass.

And for the record Aloha, everyone I trust on X the people who have been right about everything (the people you call crazy but who are almost always right), said right away that Waltz was a deep state scumbag and was only put in the administration to commit sabotage. I've also been consistent for years that Trump's biggest weakness, his only big one really, is the people who he hires.

I expect Waltz to be canned as soon as the investigation is complete. It's completely fair to criticize the appointment of Waltz.
Hold on now......

Quit talking about a monumental f*ck up in national security.

NO! F*ck off ..
I don’t see any advantage in the administration continuing to discuss this other than in private. I said they screwed up. Either you haven’t read my posts or your reading comprehension sucks.

I never said you should quit talking about it. I said the administration should take responsibility and get the facts out as soon as possible and then quit talking about it.

Take a downer, relax…and then you can crunch numbers to see who is the best basketball team. No need to watch the games the numbers will tell you the outcome

The strike was over when he decided not to publish it.
Well, he knew that information had been classified and didn’t initially publish it. Then the administration decided to go with the hoax defense and deny anything was classified. They dared Atlantic to publish it essentially. Even then they went to CIA, DoD, and others to ask specifically what not to publish. CIA responded about a couple things and the rest ignored them or made no requests.

This entire SNAFU is the fault of Waltz, Hegseth and friends, not Goldberg. He just exposed the **** up. These attacks on Goldberg are a very poor attempt to deflect. It’s amateurish.

You're dealing with the Minister of Minitrue.

Curious if this "leak" was coordinated with the reporter to make the hormonal VP and other MAGA admin appear as texting patriot warriors.

Can't trust'em.

The DHS employee told colleagues she accidentally added a reporter from a conservative Washington-based print publication to an email that included information about upcoming ICE operations in the Denver area. The officials said the information was not classified but considered law enforcement sensitive because it included the time of day for the operation and possible home locations where targets could be identified.
Realizing her mistake immediately, the employee called the reporter who agreed not to disclose the information, the officials said.
The ICE operation took place without incident, the officials said.
But another person on the email group flagged the blunder to higher-ups at DHS at a time when Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and border czar Tom Homan were blaming leaks to the media for lower-than-expected arrest numbers during ICE roundups, the officials said.

But why would he publish it if it was such classified information and he said he didn't publish it for that reason?

The bottom line is, he knew by the time he got the information, it was useless. He just exposed the F-up to embarrass the administration. That's it.

He didn’t do anything wrong. There’s a good chance the guy is an idiot but he didn’t asked to be included. They shouldn’t have attacked him

I'm not blaming him for anything. But I think it exposes the fact that the information in the chat, by the time he got it at least, was not valuable.

Agree they shouldn't attack him, but would a more friendly publication expose and publicize this?

Hahahahaaaaaaaa. They thought you were sleepin!!!!! Posting with impunity!!!!!! Now watch em scatter like rats!!!!

You got em again!!!
It's my happy day - MLB Opening Day.

Panicked a bit when MLB.COM wasn't working for the first few innings, but came back on.

Red Sox in a 2-2 struggle with the Rangers, bottom of the 8th.

Uh no. This information being in that platform two hours prior to the strike was a serious breach of national security. This **** up and the resulting embarrassment is all on the administration.

Abdul wasn't going to know 2 hours before a strike even if he would have published it.

You know they have the internet and cell phones these days. If a Russian or Iranian got that information during that chat they could have alerted the Houthis. That probably wouldn’t have stopped the mission, but they could have moved people and mobile missile sites and the mission wouldn’t have been the success it was.

Why don’t you just make an attempt to focus on the fact that this was a monumental and embarrassing breach of national security and move on? It’s indefensible yet yiu make sorry attempts yo defend it. You’re right there with your bad faith posting style and I’m not going to play.

I said it was a **** up. What more do you want?

We obviously just diagree on the seriousness of it. There was absolutely no harm done, and lessons learned.

Were you calling for Austin to resign when he disappeared without telling anyone? After Abbey Gate?

I don't blame you for not wanting to 'play' with that hand.

The lack of seriousness of the situation was because of the reporter, not the members of Trump's administration, genius.
