I seriously want to know why Archie doesn't likeseven foot basketball players. I seen in rivals 150 for 2020 five or six and we havent offered any. The tallest player was 6' 10"

We don't need 7 footer but what we need is some 6'9 or 6'10 guys like Fernando of Maryland who is around 245 pounds and very physical.
Really! A seven footer with a big ass wing span will stop the driving to the rim and will help stopping wide open three's but yeah lets just ignore seven footers all together.

There's nothing magical that happens when someone breaks 7' compared to 6' 10" or 6' 11". Anthony Davis, for example, is "only" 6' 10" and he's a decent rim protector.
You mean like Peter Jurkin or Tijan Jobe. Let me know what IU championship team had a 7 footer on it that was a key player.

Also look at most of the teams winning championships lately who had a 7 footer who were a key contributor.

Who has said that they shouldn't be athletic and can't jump. What we said is that you don't have to be 7 foot to do this. Fernando is an athletic freak who can jump out of the gym and block shots at 6'9
Yes he is since TJD is listed at 6'9 230 and still in high school. Stewart was 6'9 240 and Hurt is 6'10 225
I watched Stewart and was not impressed but keep the positive thinking. I also think that if he was recruiting Hurt that strongly then he would have came here since his best friend is Race Thompson.

You understand recruiting is a two way street and the number of 7 footers who aren't massive developmental projects is pretty small when any good enough to play at the next level leave after one year? I love Trayce at legit 6'9-10. Clifton is a 7 footer. In the Big 10, a 7 footer needs to be able to get out and defend the jump shot. Do those answers help your understanding of the issues?

Legit 6'9 - 6'10 post players would turn things around quick. And not just one. If you look at the B1G over the past several years it's common for the best teams to have multiple post players that can actually play and eat up space inside. The don't have just one big and some projects they hope pan out in 3 to 4 years.
