That would make sense if trevion shot free throws at a higher percentage and averaged less turnovers. But..... clearly has to do with leadership and experience over trust. If you refuse to acknowledge stats, go for it.
Rankings are quite subjective and not a great measuring stick. The 2017 team deserved a #1 ranking before this team did.

Credit to you. Never seen iu be anything more then a decent big ten team. Which is why I see them as such. Would have been fun to see the keady vs knight games live.
So, if X is in his final year , and we have 2 current PGs, he could help for a couple of years after X is gone. Either way, we will need another PG at some point.

Not a great defender, not a true PG. At least not yet... He played more point his freshman year, but last year was spent being an undersized two guard which is more his forte.
You know the issue, lol. It is called Matt Painter and the PU program. Matt will never have another player as good as Ivey, and PU will never have a better chance to reach the FF than this year: epic choke.

Edey's turnovers, average defense, and FT shooting kept him on the bench during crunch time. He's not as good as most of the Purdue fan base thinks he is. He's also not proven he will improve year-to-year as much as the fan base says he will. Everyone keeps saying "he hasn't played that long, wait until he develops" - yet in conference play his FT shooting got worse from year 1 to 2, and his turnover rate went up. So I'm not confident he will improve his turnover rate, defense, and FT from year 2 to year 3.
I've explained before why I visit this board and many others. Don't feel the need to do it again. Also not sure what the past has to do with the present and future. Why I don't live in it.
