I don't follow near as close as many of you here, but I heard Don Fisher on the radio this afternoon and not one question or answer about Perea's progress - not that Don would be the best person to know.

But it prompted me to ask Google and nothing there in a quick search either except the original articles saying 4 weeks, that were written 3 and a half weeks ago. Just wondering if anyone has heard any news.

Considering this teams complete lack of post players, having him on the floor changes how our opponents can attack us - even if he produces few stats. He just needs to avoid foul trouble and other stints on the bench.

Last I heard, mid-February was expected.

Something change? The Hartman thing worked for a while, but I think Hanner's return is critical to finishing this season strong.

eh, you're probably right. I may remember incorrectly, but

I thought I recalled Crean (or someone) saying they hoped he'd be back for Minny. Either way, your statement about his importance is spot on

Was jogging on the court at Wisconsin

Fischer mentioned in the post game that Hanner seemed to be walking without a limp and was jogging on the court. He said there was an outside chance he would be ready for Sunday. I wouldn't get my hopes up for Sunday, but he must be getting close
