Another person tried to kill Trump

Wait a sec.

You first claim that Obama "forced Gallup out of the industry" and then repost a recent "poll" you claim is a Gallup poll from 2024? Why do you endorse a "poll" from someone you claim is out of the industry?

You're the MAGA gold standard. You represent everything we've come to expect from a blind Trump supporter.
They don't poll the Presidential race anymore dumbass. Ask Obama and Holder why.

They're not going to stop.

And because it's Kamala's state he's already out. Of course.

It's pretty likely that it wasn't an assasination attempt and comments I read on line say that he's a well known Trumper who follows Trump around from rally to rally...

The incident occurred in Riverside Co, which is home to Bakersfield and one of the Trumpiest parts of the state, at least in the South...

The reason he had multiple IDs is because, according to the Sheriff he's a Sovereign Citizen. Sov Citizens are usually armed and often their vehicles are not registered. They also usually refuse to provide their names, and add all kinds of gibberish when asked to id themselves. S

So the likely scenario was that he wanted to attend the Trump rally, seemed suspicious (watch the videos below) and when the cops tried to investigate him he likely took offense. They found weapons, not because he planned to assasinate Trump, but because driving around in improperly licensed vehicles which often contain 1 or more firearms is what Sov Cits do.
  • The sovereign citizen movement is a large anti-government extremist movement whose adherents believe the government is the illegitimate product of a conspiracy that subverted the original, lawful government. They claim people can take steps to divorce themselves from the illegitimate government, after which it has no authority or jurisdiction over them.
  • Sovereign citizens are known for their abstruse pseudo-legal arguments, as well as other unusual behaviors, such as inserting gratuitous punctuation marks in their names or flouting motor vehicle regulations while proclaiming they are “travelers,” not “drivers.”
It should go without saying that they are Trumpers. There's a hilarious video of a particular Sov Cit "praying" to Trump as cops who have stopped him are about to break his window to remove him from his vehicle...Winston Cave Hall aka as "the Caveman"...

They are a major headache for Judges and law enforcement...

Years ago (80s) I worked at a large oil refinery. Even the hourly employees made big money and had opportunities to advance. (For example, some plant managers had engineering degrees while others had 20+ years experience in that plant.)

One summer, I was in safety engineering and worked in the security office at the gate. One day, federal agents showed up - at least 7 or 8 of them - and asked for a particular employee. Their instructions were to call him to the gate but not tell him why. The agents were stationed at all the exits, with weapons out. As soon the guy walked in he was cuffed and taken away.

I found out later that he was a believer in something akin to today's sovereign citizen wackos. He believed that what the oil company payed him (equiv. of ~$200,000+ today) was not taxable income. Instead, he "bartered" his services in exchange for $ and the income tax laws did not apply. Apparently he had not paid federal taxes for 4-5 years. The Feds came and got him that day because they found out he was leaving the country on vacation and they were concerned he was not planning on returning.

No idea whatever happened to him as I went back to school not long after the arrest.

I worked for Primerica back in the 90s. They were pretty right wing, and I knew a few people emeshed in that "don't pay your taxes" movement. I didn't make any waves and got along great with all of them. They had the cassette tapes and all the paperwork, which they always carried around with them...

One of them a younger kid with a huge family was the epitome of "frugal". If a group of us went to Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet for example, hed always go even if he was low on cash. But what he'd often do was get a salad bowl, fill it with water (free) and pour ketchup packets in there to make (horrible) tomato soup.

I can't remember what happened last week, but after 30+ yrs I can still remember that...

Today I learned that Pizza Hut has catsup packages. I wouldn't have guessed it.

It was the 90s and might have been prior to my heart attack. They were definitely around the same time, because it was these guys I was hooping with when I had my heart attack. So I could be misremembering some of the specific deatils...

It may have been might a wing sauce of some kind-it was red. I hate ketchup and any kind of sauce so my recollection could be shaky. It was gross, and he even put crackers from the salad bar in there...In addition he did the same thing at places like Grindstone Charley's and other sitdown restaurants where there definitely were ketchup packets...
