This is a normal season.

Some people simply need a history lesson.

This season is average for IU. The question is, should alumni continue to put up with supporting this or should IU face the music and join a conference they can actually compete in.

Class 3A vs 6A every week.

That is a depressing, embarrassing and almost unbelievable stat.
How is that even possible?
IU football has to be the most inept program of any sport in the history of the NCAA.

They had one peer, Kansas State before Bill Snyder............We didnt find Bill Snyder.
No we made a major mistake listening to coach DeBoer about Sheridan being able to run a B1G offense and not getting rid of coach Hiller before this year. Now coach Heard is on my list to replace as our receivers aren't blocking or catching the ball very well. The only two I would keep would be coach Wright and coach McCollough. We will have to wait and see what move coach Allen makes in the off-season.

1) IIRC the price of admission to the B1G 10 for IU included having to initially play an inordinate # of conference games on the road, which set the program back

2) there have never been any consequences for athletic administrators for failure to field a competitive, well-attended football program that maximized its profit potential. Yes, unsuccessful coaches have been fired, but not the ADs who hired them. In order for an AD to be fired at IU they’ve either had to be overly extravagant with money or a scapegoat for university officials’ meddling with the basketball program.
