$4.7T untraceable

I KNEW Purdue was raking in illicit cash.

I liked the circumcisionns in Mozambique. Can't have enough of those.
I love the fact he didn’t know what half the stuff was that he was reading off and the fact he did no research previously.

That was great

LOL. He says $500 million is going to ESGs in Africa, clearly doesn't know what those are (how could he not in this day and age??) even though he reads from his paper that they are investments, then says "someone got 500 million dollars [for what] "sounds like an environmental study."

I don't care if he knows what they are or not. $500 million is a shit ton of money.

I think we have every right to question it.

In typical Trump fashion, he's often wrong on the minutia, but spot on the bigger problem.

Small minds jump on that and claim there aren't problems.

@Digressions is out there workin the land in this shit. Can you imagine? I wonder what he wears? Jeans are horrible. Can’t be that. Bib overalls? Like a big onesie? I don’t know

He's correct:

Jason Chaffetz 2015-2017

Trey Gowdy 2017 - 2019

James Comer 2023 - Current

MAGA.....not by half..

Chaffetz was a Dim until 1990, half-brother to John DUKAKIS, worked in Michael Dukakis campaign, rescinded his endorsement of Trump one month before the 2016 election as a minion of Mitt Romney and Paul Wolf, resigned his House seat six months into Trumps first term.
Deep state reach arounder....

Gowdy retired after 18 months on the subcommittee, at the time was isolated by literally the entire Republican caucus after defending Robert Mueller's witchhunt and challenging Trump's later-proven true complaint of being spied upon during and after the 2016 election. Another Paul Wolf backed Republican.
Gowdy was replaced on the committee by Elijah Cummins, then Carolyn Maloney, dims

Comer was ranking member. NOT CHAIRMAN, for two years, until January of 2023.

You simply aren’t right in the head.

Pretty sure it's been determined they "found" the condoms program that is/was part of GWB's efforts to fight AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
Well, hell, there's no reason for current Republicans to worry about nasty diseases in Africa making their way to the U.S., is there?

GWB was not a Republican anyway, just a RINO.

Wow, Chaffetz has done a 180. Didn't know all that about him.

Gowdy was too quick to assume the DoJ was on the up-and-up, having been a prosecutor. I don't think he believes that anymore.

Given Chaffetz background , I was neither surprised nor disappointed when he left. Gowdy was a disappointment...loved his cross-x style during hearings...

The other key thing in that CBS article above, Social Security stops paying at 115. Maybe their deep dive stopped at the shallow end
Again, this is people steam rolling into a department who have no idea what they are looking at, coming up with conclusions. And of course, the immediate obligatory tweet saying “fraud fraud fraud fraud fraud”. There is no doubt in my mind that there are people who continue to collect Social Security checks from dead relatives. Mostly because those dead relatives death hasn’t been reported. That is fraud and it’s right on the Social Security website.

Any system as large as Social Security will have fraud. Musk will find some, so it is good to get it found. But in the article the inspector general said fraud was below 1%. Now .9% is still a lot of cash, but it isn't as obscene as the OP nor Musk made it sound.

Private healthcare has a range of fraud that is believed, the low range is 3%.

I'm pretty sure when my dad passed, the funeral home took care of that for us. One of the estates I administered it went that way, too. But another one, I helped the executor to prepare the forms to do it herself. I'm not sure what's more common.
I think the more common is the Furneral Home taking care of it but I don’t think they do it without permission.

I looked to see if there was a regulation requiring funeral homes to report the death--I couldn't find one, but I didn't spend more than a few minutes searching. Seems like that would be a good regulation to have. It is a simple piece of paper, but it does look like that a surviving spouse or child can report the death to SS over the phone as long as they have the social security number.

I heard a Fox commentator say last night, “Doge is democracy, that’s what we voted for”. I don’t remember seeing anything about it on the ballot. Perhaps it was and I overlooked it?

I think it’s just a courtesy they provide to the family. Many people die, homeless with no family thus no funeral.

I did my folks in person and had to go through 20 questions to convince them it was legitimate.
