Official Game Thread: Indiana vs Miami

TJD has 0 sweet 16s to show for his 4 years. IU was the favorite this year but it just didn’t work out for ya. Chill for awhile. Long off season.

    Catching Purdue

You know you've made your point when they jump on ya like fleas on a Southern Indiana coon dog. Rinse. Repeat. It's all good, though.

    Catching Purdue

IU fans post about Purdue on free board, then spend several days trying to explain how they don't care about Purdue. Rinse, repeat. Priceless.

    Catchings vs Bidunga

Wow, Catchings goes off for 39 points. He may end up being the top ranked junior in the state. Bidunga can dunk the ball, but Catchings hits from everywhere. So smooth.

Rankings this next week will be interesting

Maybe that demonstrates that the recruiting class ranking is not the “be all end all.” I think Duke had the #1 class and some of these guys won’t stick around in college very long. There’s still merit to a cohesive team, that plays hard, and with good chemistry.

    Poor Purdue, today is..

You know it's spring in Indiana when Purdue is still playing basketball and IU is firing coaches. I swear, for being the supposed "little brother" every time I take a peek here you're being obsessed with Purdue.

Are Stewart and Durr on their second suspension?

Listen to Dakich today, I'm sure that he'll "clear the air" , so to speak, he's connected to the program. ;) Truthfully though, I'm sure DD will support the action that was taken.

“F You Dickinson” - Purdue Students

It has been reported that the student section in the upper bowl said “Flop you Dickinson”. If true, that would make more sense with the flops he took today.

Perspective on Woodson hire from Atlanta

I saw that, but I thought the guy meant that Davis was an alum of the Knight era as a coach. Wasn't clear. I wouldn't discount the opinion completely, there is usually some truth even with exaggerations and personality conflicts.

Perspective on Woodson hire from Atlanta

I have some family members that are IU fans and are still scratching their heads on this hire and arrangement with Matta. These comments from an Atlanta reporter don't instill confidence either. Perhaps it will work, but lots of reasons that it won't...

Purdue get Proctor, Archie gets ?

There is a risk to grad transfers if they negatively affect team chemistry. You have to get the right guy that fits in with your team.

Blast From The Past. Where is Mark Patrick?

He seemed to "jump ship" alot towards the end of his career from local to national radio shows and back, which made me wonder what the issue was. I think he even had a national baseball focused show. One of his more famous radio shows was the one where he simply listened as Jay Mohr and Bill...
