It figures

Mark locked a thread I started that contained a report about Kamala making up another story about her childhood.

He can accuse someone of sucking dicks in threads, but post some embarrassing facts about Kamala and it's locked.

It didn't take long for him to show the kind of mod he is.

Walker and Masters and Oz, Oh My!

With high inflation and a historically unpopular Democratic president, this should have been the year for Republicans to kick ass in the midterms and easily gain control of both houses of Congress. While it's likely they'll flip the House, wresting control of the Senate is very much in doubt. The GOP hasn't helped itself by nominating guys like Walker, Masters and Oz. Walker is arguably among the worst major party senatorial candidates ever, Masters (trailing Mark Kelly by 8 points in yesterday's Fox New poll) is a conspiracy theorist and election denier, and Oz is a carpetbagger with Turkish citizenship and many homes around the globe. Even Mitch McConnell has gone on the record (link below) questioning "candidate quality."

What's the common thread? All of these candidates have been enthusiastically promoted and endorsed by the former POTUS.

As someone pointed out in another thread, Trump may - - once again - - cost the GOP the Senate.

After a couple of days…..

I have rewatched the game and been reading the board and I guess I’m confused. It almost seems reading these messages we lost.

We played a team that will likely get to a bowl, was playing their second game, and oh by the way a conference opponent and we found a way to win. For those of you saying Illinois lost more than we won, I disagree.

There are lots of things that need cleaned up, but can we at least agree that the win, overall was a good first step?

I listened to the game on my way home from Indiana Saturday. App State scored 40 points. In the 4th Quarter.

Whoa Nellie!

Is the path cleared for traditional Republicans?

I think the likelihood of Trump being charged with treason is quite high and there seems to be no one on the Democrat side to win in 2024. I estimate that it would be a cake walk for a Romney, Bush or McCain type to just step in and say:

-no abortion
-no violence
-no illegals
-low taxes

Vote for me!

I don't think the far right is as strong politically as the media makes them out to be and once Trump is indicted, he has no chance of ever winning a national election. The dummies who make up his puppeteers are not smart enough to carry on without him.

And clearly, Biden has no chance of winning again unless somehow he is running against Trump.

Seems a clear time to see a return to the old standard of conservative types that are actually opposed to Russia.
