Pelosi doing Pelosi things

Regardless of actual intent, you just can’t and shouldn’t do this shit

Clint Keown

Those who followed HS basketball back in the late 90s might remember a player from Evansville named Clint Keown. He was an Indiana All-Star in 1998.

Clint passed away today in an automobile accident.

Went on to play 2 seasons at UE for Jim Crews and then transferred to D2 South Carolina Aiken. He had a standout career there in both basketball and baseball. He played minor league baseball briefly.

The guy was almost larger than life here in Evansville. He became a tremendous prop gambler and poker player. He bet with the likes of Kevin Hart, Nelly, and Tobey Maguire. The stories he racked up doing that were legendary. He once hit 90 out of 100 free throws on roller skates for $50k.

More recently, he became a fantastic amateur golfer - a game he didn’t pick up until his 20s. One of the best players in the area.

Apparently he was over in Robinson, IL to play golf with a friend. RIP to a local legend.

So when you heard Kevin Roberts forecast a bloodless coup "as long as the Left cooperates"

Did you imagine he was a dog murderer who made Kristi Noem pale by comparison? At least Kristi shot her own dog, not beat the neighbor's pet to death with a shovel...

Question for Kevin's buddy JD Vance...Are you going to condemn Kev and attack him publicly on the basis of multiple witnesses accusing him of pet homicide. You know the same way you tweeted a false narrative relentlessly, baselessly accusing Hatians of eating Miss Sassy?

Interesting article on just how far left Harris is

also reflects that biden was in the middle in keeping with what most expected when he took office in 2020

"Of these 109 Democrats, Harris has the second-most liberal voting record. This makes her slightly less liberal than Warren, but more liberal than all of the remaining 107 Democrats, and significantly more liberal than all but a handful."

IU Opponents

First, let me be clear I'm not pouring cold water on IU's fast start. The best any team can ever do is beat the teams they're scheduled to play and we're a perfect four-for-four to date. I was happy to be able to attend the UCLA game and be a part of IU's win in that iconic venue. I still think that was a key game and an important road win over a conference opponent with some good players. Our team looks disciplined, focused and fast, and Coach Cig and the staff are doing a nice job.

That said, all of this talk about a 10 or 11-win record and a berth in the CFP is very premature. The teams we've defeated have a combined record of 3-11. One of them, Western Illinois, hasn't won a game since 2021. Today's Sagarin ratings rank our strength of schedule nationally (including all D1 schools - - FBS and FCS) as 194th. We have yet to beat a very good team.

Our next opponent, Maryland, is the best team we will have played so far. They're 3-1, losing only to Michigan State on a last-second FG. Maryland's three wins include a W over a good Virginia team at Charlottesville.

This Saturday's game will be an important test and give us a much better idea as to whether IU is truly an upper echelon team.

Go Hoosiers!

Biggest Test Yet - Maryland -

If we don't find a way to defend the run better than we did against Charlotte it could be a disappointing Saturday...

Maryland is the most talented team we'll have faced so far... If we're serious about contending for a Big Ten Championship we need this W....
