Very disappointing result tonight but 21 wins, two B1G Tourney wins, NCAA Tourney bid and NCAA Tourney win. That's really pretty much what I had hoped for in year one under CMW. Proud of how these guys fought to make the Big Dance when they could have checked out. Go Hoosiers!

that is the difference, need to shut that down asap. And I think we need to push pace, run the shit out of them in 2nd, like old fashioned clappy tempo. I think they'd be more thrown than us prone to turn it over. Put in Lander, Bates, Geronimo/Galloway, Race, Trayce and run them

Kenpom says they're better than us offensively which was no surprise, but also said they're better than us defensively...which really surprised me. I've not seen one second of any of their games.

Anybody know a B1G team they might compare them to?

Not good playing a very solid team that plays disciplined on both sides, coupled with a tired IU and a fresh SMU. In hindsight, with our schedule this past week, they were a really bad draw for IU.

Perhaps we can fight our way back, but I’m not real hopeful.

Move in the right direction. Should be encouraged over pills for athletes. Tons of NBA players current and former are advocating and telling their stories on the benefits. Prescribed pills are so much worse than weed for pain, coping, etc. Glad the world is finally seeing that giving out these manufactured pills like skittles is not the play. Weed is a plant, weed can be very beneficial.

and what are we drinking tonight?

It wasn't pretty, but we won an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since beating Kentucky in 2016. Most of our starters had terrible games and we still won by 8. I think that bodes well for a better outing from at least Xavier and Race. Would be nice to get more out of either Stewart or Kopp. Maybe a couple of 3s?

I haven't watched St. Mary's play this year. By all accounts they play at a snail's pace, which I think will help us. After playing 3 games in the BTT, then playing on Tuesday night, and flying across the country, a high possession game likely wouldn't work out well for us. If we can play within their pace and pick our spots to get out in transition, I think we'll have a good shot.

St. Mary's is a good team, but I like our chances.
