On your starting times, I posted something about this when the merger with the Pac 10 Teams were completed. Washington had a bye week leading into the game, but two weeks ago, They played at Iowa. Both games had noon Eastern Time kicks. So for two consecutive games, Washington had to travel to the Midwest for a 2 or 3 hour time zone change. That has to get old and disruptive over the course of the season. but that is the price of admission those Schools paid for access to the additional money.

Take this to the extreme. With a nine game Conference Schedule, You have 4 or 5 Road Games. At best in a nine game Schedule You could end up with 3 of your 9 games played in the Pacific Time zone. At worst, You could end up with 5 Road trips across 2 or more time zones. Certainly not an ideal situation.

LSU was the only team ranked above us (that I'm aware of) that lost (at #8) but that may allow us to move up at least one slot to #12...,( hopefully even more)...

I very seriously doubt it. Fland is already better than any guard Woody has brought in during his tenure, including JHS.

I'll never be mistaken for a Purdue fan, but the guy came from nowhere (fine ... Canada) and is now one of 150ish starters in the NBA. Not too shabby.

I unfortunately couldn't watch but I just watched the picks segment for GameDay and the highlights. Man I would have been losing my stuff at the start of the 2nd half when we immediately threw that pick and then Washington scored - especially the way the 1st half ended. (Although I'm glad they took the FG.) Happily the Hoosiers responded and nearly shut the Huskies out from there. Looking at TJ's stats, looks like he was kinda meh? It's hard to get a feel for the game based on highlights. 🤷

Surfboard Fred had the gall to defend a shared weight room when asked about it a few years ago. Then when a real coaching staff is hired one of the first changes they demand is a football only weight room. Amateurs run the athletics department.

I believe this is very important.

Our institutions--including our electoral process, vote counters, poll judges, etc.--are vitally important to the fabric of our government and society. That includes our judiciary.

Delegitimizing them is very, very dangerous. Worse case scenario, this is what leads to actual, real civil war/unrest. THAT is what Russia and China want to do via their meddling, much more than have one or the other candidate win. Each time a candidate does this ala Hillary in 2016 or Abrams in 2018 or Trump in 2020, it makes it easier for the next candidate to do so, eroding public confidence in those institutions. This shit needs to stop--the American voters need to punish those who engage in this behavior harshly.
