Purdue Loses Exhibition

HAHA! What are you crying about? No one is measuring Indiana success to others. We are mocking PU because this is a sports entertainment fan forum. I think last months tampon is still in your bum. You might want to pull that string.
My god, that was ignorant. I don't waste an iota of my being on what PU does and you're obsessed with them.
As for mockery, isn't that supposed to be "humorous"? Apparently, funny would be far beyond your repertoire.

Exhibition vs Tennessee

A highly-regarded player is replacing a 1st-round draft pick at the same position, so it's natural to compare. I'm well aware they don't share the same style of play, which is basically my point: Ware brought much more to the table than Ballo will. Even if rebounding and defense are a push, KW actually created space with his shooting ability and versatility. OB isn't equipped to do that. Therefore, IU will see crowded lanes when Reneau and Ballo play together.

All the chatter has been about IU's roster--and deservedly so--but some seem to think OB for Ware is a fairly even "tradeoff." I think Ballo was an excellent get who will be a major part of this team, but he has far fewer offensive weapons in his arsenal than Ware ... and I think that will become evident as the season progresses.

Because IU was pitiful last season, many--myself included--sometimes forgot how good Ware really was. Without him, the Hoosiers may have finished with single-digit wins last season. He was that important.
So why wasnt the lane clogged yesterday? Malik, Mack and Myles all found gaps to penetrate through.

Exhibition vs Tennessee

You’re the only one comparing him to Ware. Totally different players and skill set. Ballo will be a double double machine. Sometimes the lineup will play better without him.

Exhibition vs Tennessee

I drove from Atlanta to Knoxville to watch the Tennessee exhibition. This post is late because I just returned. Here is what I saw.
  • I don’t think there is a bad seat in Thompson-Boling. The arena was about 85% full. Empty seats were at the upper levels.
  • Thompson-Boling is right next to Neyland Stadium. Watching parking unravel after a football game must be an hours long activity, 101,915 fans trying to find their transportation out.
  • Words don’t describe how 3-dimensionally big Ballo is. He takes up a lot of space, and he rebounded well against an athletic Tennessee team.
  • IU was 0 fer 3-point shooting in the first half. I didn’t count. but I think IU took around 10 3’s.
  • Mgbako was 0 fer the first half. Goode was 0 fer the game. The only way to go for our shooters is better. To be fair, Mgbako had a good 2nd half.
  • Tennessee’s defense was really good. They were quick. They pressured and helped the entire game.
  • Rice and Carlyle’s defense was really good. They pressured whenever they were in the game. The 3 bigs just stood straight up until they had to close out.
  • Rice is going to be Yogi level good.
  • IU’s zoom action needs a lot of work. Tennessee shut down all the post screen options.
  • The game showed reason to be optimistic about IU. With reasonable development IU could be very good at the end of the season.
  • IU and Tennessee should get full props for starting out playing each other, rather than Marion and University of Indianapolis. Both teams now have a good read on their current state of play.
  • The Knoxville experience was well worthwhile: University on the Hill, great basketball environment in Thompson-Boling, downtown theater and restaurant and bar area, post-game meal in a restaurant on the Tennessee river. If you ever get a chance, go.

New Yorkers Lining Up for Trump

We’re a week out DBM. Let’s win this damn election because I don’t want to have to do it again in 28.

This is our time!!! This HAS to be our time!! Harris and walz. Sooooo dumb. Goofy as hell. If we can’t beat these two we can’t beat anyone!
Won't have to. Didn't someone once say that he loves the poorly educated?

MSU

On paper for certain..., unfortunately none of our stats or rankings carry over to the next games scoreboard...

We should beat them..., but I don't think it will be easy... (for all the reasons I mentioned above)...

Hopefully, I'll be wrong, our Defense will play their best game so far and our two QB's, supported by the rest of our Offense, will help put up 31 points each and we'll Win going away 62 - 0..., but I expect it to be closer...

I just hope I can find Fisch on the radio... Did a dry run test today and could barely bring in 105.5 FM... Any old fashioned radio suggestions are appreciated... (Center Grove, Central Indiana area)... Supposedly Fisch lives within a few miles of me you'd think his station would have enough power to reach his home...!
The IU broadcasts are usually on 93.1. It has a pretty strong signal. We live in the CG area and haven’t had a problem getting it

Update . . .

my neurologist just resigned. The appointment I've been waiting for since March has been canceled. Don't know when it will be rescheduled. Anybody know a neurologist that can get me in? I think I know the answers to my questions.
Sorry to hear that.

I can’t be much help for you in Georgia. I know a number of them from a large practice in Indy. I’m surprised that whoever your neurologist was affiliated with just left you hanging like that.

I do know a surgeon affiliated with Emory in Atlanta. Really good guy, great CV. I’d be happy to ask him for any suggestions. Emory is a huge healthcare entity.
