There is an argument here about getting money out of politics that I think we’d both agree with, but that’s not what I’m talking about here.

Musk isn’t the first person to throw gobs of money at a politician to help get them elected and curry favor, but with his advisory role and DOGE thing, it’s starting to look like he’ll have unprecedented ability to directly influence and impact policy, regulation and governing.

Use some of that cash and buy a place in the country. Let that boy run…get him out of the concrete jungle.

Hold off on gaming as long as you can….and like Twenty said only on weekends

If we went to ND, there would be a lot of IU fan interest in going to that game, and there are a lot of IU fans within close driving distance (duh).

It's not uncommon for ND's stadium to be taken over. IU wouldn't quite be like the UGA or OSU games there, but there would be quite bit of red in the crowd.

I am getting too far ahead -- we've got to beat PU first and they have to win at USC.

Well..., the sun did come up...

There were positives from the game against Ohio State especially the two drives for scores and the play of the defense. The OL issue needs a change in offensive scheme as Michigan and OSU would bring an extra rusher on one side of the OL to draw the RB's block while sending an extra rusher on the other side of the OL. Get the scheme fixed or other teams will destroy IU's passing game.
In addition, the coaches need to design some quick passing plays to exploit teams that choose to over blitz IU they way OSU did. It looked like to me, OSU was sending in 7 guys on their blitzes which overloaded IUs OL blocking. That means at least 1 IU player was open each & every time OSU blitzed. I figure what OSU did to IU this last game will now become a blueprint of how to beat IU. OSUs over blitzed totally negated & destroyed IUs RPO offense.

But it’s the reversible jacket fans you’re seeing. They only care about the basketball program. They aren’t showing up for football. IU will have no issue selling out its small allotment of tickets for the game but don’t expect to see 10,000 IU fans inside of Notre Dane stadium just because SouthBend has IU people are in the area. I would bet many of those same fans are attending ND games in full ND gear during the year and then when basketball rolls around, out come the red jackets and dust off the mothballs.
I know a ND season ticket holder who has already been selected for his 4 seats that he has for the regular season with the opportunity to purchase up to 12 more for only $250 a piece. They are going to struggle without the students on campus, especially so close to the holidays. There will be plenty of secondary market tickets available for that game.

Musk has bought twitter and the presidency. He's ensuring the legislators who will rubber stamp the agenda that will be favorable to his businesses and ideology are in office. Whether he actually buys MSNBC or not, he's most definitely going to try.

Elon Musk is an oligarch.

I had a typo - replace 'sure' with 'sued.' You probably could have figured that out, but I'm happy to explain things to you whenever it's needed.

And it's not a rage post - it was more incredulous than anything. Jones made up lies about first grade kids who were shot to death in their classroom. If that's entertainment to you, that's beyond messed up.
Neither Jones nor I shot any kids...but your pearl clutching is entertaining.
