Ole Miss just lost to a 5-5 Florida team and they said no way IU should make it in over Ole Miss. SEC is all powerful..

Not down on the guys. Tough loss. Just a shame the running game looked fine but nothing else on offense. Seemed we could see that early... So I don't understand the calls, but much easier to sit and couch bitch after the fact.

Truth be told, a New Years Eve Citrus Bowl appearance -- and WIN -- would be one helluva way to finish the season. I'd even consider going. I need to learn how to spend money foolishly.

Idk. Getting in for the sake of saying we got in feels a lot like a participation trophy. After today i am not sure I want in. If we do slip in it is highly likely to be as a bottom seed. So, playing potentially our last game on the road just feels like a bummer way to end the season. That’s my initial reaction though. Maybe I will change my mind.

Correct. Lest we forget the ‘96 game at IU during Coach Mal’s last home game when their classy fans rushed the field and took down a goal post. Then tried to get the other one, but IU players wouldn’t have it.

The best part of this was, yes, they clinched at least a tie for the big 10 title that day and were running around with roses. BUT WAIT!!! They would go onto be upset the next week at home by UM to Griese, Tai Streets and Woodson, not only blowing first place outright, but a chance at the National Championship and having to settle for a first place tie with Northwestern.

Learn from it. Beat Purdue. Hope we get some luck in the playoff ranking.

Man, across the board, I can't believe how much our passing game --QB, receivers, O-Line, and probably staff-- all tanked today.
