I went down to the first floor “cafe/store” in bldg this morning and got a Mountain Dew and two slim Jim’s. Was embarrassed riding the elevator back up
Coporate/commerical real estate and property mgmt going to the birds. We have an office in the DFW area inside a larger commerical campus. The bldg this office is in (and we're talking 60 people alone in the office we've got) has no vending machines. None. Zero. YOu have to go three bldgs over to get a coke.

New Yorkers Lining Up for Trump

Hinchcliffe has a history of this kind of shit.

Just an incredibly stupid, unforced error by a campaign in the closing days of a tight race.

Not convinced it was an error. Spend the last few days of the campaign talking about shit no one cares about while Trump hammers home the economy, inflation, the border, etc.

One conservative’s argument for a Harris vote

A Republican who backs Kemp because Kemp resists Trump?

I happen to really like Brad Kemp, and it has nothing to do with his relationship with Trump. He’s probably my second favorite current governor, behind Youngkin.

And one of the things that first impressed me about him was the spine he showed during the left’s epic meltdown over Georgia’s election bill — which was a good bill that was so incredibly distorted and miscast that MLB refused to have the All-Star Game there. He even had Coca-Cola running for the hills on it. Biden called it “Jim Eagle.” Kemp didn’t bat an eye.

It all had to do with the Shelby Co. decision re: the Voting Rights Act and pre-clearance. By the reaction to it, you’d think they were bringing back poll taxes and literacy tests. But the bill was fine, and Kemp impressively stood his ground.

Trump has ideas about how the country should be. . Let’s focus on those.

At the end of the day, this is the primary reason why I’m not voting for him. I can deal with how he is - obviously, I’ve voted for him before.

But I think his actions after the last election were utterly craven and egregious. They also have a lot to do with my vote. He crossed lines that should never be crossed. And I can’t just ignore that.

It has little to do with the charges brought against him - some of which are total bullshit and blatantly politically motivated. If anything, that stuff just puts me more against his enemies — as I put that more in a league with what he did after the 2020 election. Trying to bankrupt him with garbage about valuations that nobody else would get charged with? That’s as indefensible as anything he did.

But, then, I also think he should’ve just sent the documents back and he egged on that situation on his own. That may have been blown out of proportion, but it was on him not the DOJ. It didn’t need to happen. NARA tried to work with him, and he acted like an entitled, childish asshole.

Through it all, though, it’s still the policies that most turn me off. But the headaches that come with him certainly add to it.

I’m past ready to move on from him. It’s a helluva shame the Democrats are the way they are. So I can’t vote for them, either. Unfortunately one of them has to win. But they won’t be doing it with my vote.

Purdue Loses Exhibition

I guess I’m just lucky then to have been in my junior year at IU when Knight came on board. There must just be something special about witnessing a national championship in college basketball, making it seem like it happened just yesterday and not 37, 43 and 48 years ago. In my mind…my reality, if you will, it does truly seem like IU has had the better cultural history of success, based upon my personal observation. You do recall the basketball movie they made was called “Hoosiers” and not “Boilers”?

I can respect that.

The intangible here is what does Michigan State have left emotionally after a close loss to their biggest rival? Will They lack emotion and come out flat and non-competitive after licking their wounds from last week? In past years, I would be concerned about this being a trap game with Us looking past MSU with Michigan the following week. There may be an advantage in having all the roster turnover and a new Coach. This is their first trip through a Big Ten Schedule and They probably don't have an understanding or appreciation of Big Ten rivalries and history. They don't know what They don't know. That may be an advantage for Us.

IU, first FBS team in at least 20 years to start 8-0 without trailing in a game

With Saturday’s 31-17 win over Washington, Indiana became the first FBS team in at least 20 years to start 8-0 without trailing in a game, per ESPN’s David Hale. There are many reasons why Indiana has gained that distinction. Two of them are the way Indiana starts games and finishes them.

Indiana is the nation’s only team that has held all of its opponents scoreless in the first quarter, running up an 87-0 advantage. The Hoosiers have played especially well in the fourth quarter, too, outscoring opponents 101-20.

Those first and fourth-quarter scoring margins lead the way for an Indiana team that has the nation’s No. 1 point differential at plus-32.4 per game. In total, Indiana has outscored its opponents 372-113 this season, good for the nation’s second-highest scoring offense per game (46.5) and a defense that ranks seventh in points allowed per game (14.1).

The second quarter has been the highest scoring for both Indiana and its opponents, with the Hoosiers outscoring opponents 104-62. The Hoosiers have an 80-31 advantage in the third quarter, their worst from an offensive standpoint.

AP can go f*** itself

MSU will be the toughest game to date. On the road, with the opponent coming off the heels of losing to their biggest rival with a nasty ending. IU not being rated in the Top 10 going into East Lansing is a good thing for both teams. IU should feel disrespected as does MSU. Win....and IU is comfortably Top 10.
Agree, if Rourke's pain-free & able to make all the throws, he'll play

Exhibition vs Tennessee

When did I say Galloway should start? I mean,I'm not totally opposed to it,but I don't recall saying it. Would it be that bad though? I kinda of feel that Galloway and Carlyle are different, but pretty interchangeable in the fact that each do different things we'll. Why would Galloway starting be so bad? Please give me the wisdom you possess. Why would it be so bad for Galloway to start?

This is either going to be crickets,or pathetically dumb...I can't wait.
Dude. Take a break from here. You're about to have a stroke.

I believe Cignetti pulled Mark Langston out of the portal over the JMU Long Snapper who was in the portal at the same time.

Turns out that their starting Long Snapper is out for our game and probably for the year... If we can spook his backup with some bluff charges we may be able to affect his snaps... There's always the possibility of a block or two off the edge if the 2nd teamer is a tick or two slower getting the ball back there than the starter too... Hopefully he'll have a rough day and we can affect their kicking game...
