If the idea of making Election Day a holiday is allow people more time and flexibility to fulfill their civic duty, I would think we would want to do that for the races that will affect them most.

I’m not opposed to Election Day being a holiday. Let’s craft policy that encourages good decision making though. Aka, being more involved in local politics.

But: if this year continues and we end up in the playoffs, he deserves a raise (I don’t know the contract details, he may have a bonus baked in already if they make Big10 champ game/win or tie for regular season champ)!
I still would want him and assistants to be rewarded!
IMO, his wife can like Btown even better with more money.
Here is an idea: free full ride to IU med school for his daughter, long as they live in-state, in Btown- ha ha

Yeah, military people don’t need to vote. Those living overseas or there on business don’t need a vote. I put my mail-in ballot in the mail today. More convenient, and it will be counted.

He gets credit for good policy that comes out of his administration. It’s his EO. He signed it.

I guess we can give her and her team some credit for pushing their pride aside and ripping off said good policy.
