Last time IU made 3 NCAA's in a row 06-08

and we fired 2 coaches in that span.

With any luck, IU will be in 3 years in a row, and be in the best spot it has been in since Knight. To win the big one, you got to get there every year. Hell, at this point, I think most IU fans would treat a final 4 almost the same as a championship in the 80s. Been awhile boys.

Woodson has the program in a great place. It is marquee destination for NBA prospects from all over the country. We got a Duke decomit to sign with us over Kansas. Just think about the possibilities of that situation happening with Archie for a second. We have came a long long way in 2 short years.

Looking forward to the season and talking about what seed we will be for the foreseeable future. That is all for Hump day.

Former IU Assistant, the late Nick Mourouzis, will be inducted

Into the Hellenic Sports Hall of Fame in Las Vegas later this week. Coach Nick, the much beloved all time winningest football coach at DePauw will be represented by son Ted and daughter Pam and their families.

Coach Nick’s daughter Pam Mourouzis, wife of Matthew McClure, will be accompanied by her daughter, Isla McClure. Coach was a graduate of Miami of Ohio University and is a member of the legendary Miami “Cradle of Coaches.” He was on IU’s 1967 Big Ten Tri- Champion football staff which played USC in the 1968 Rose Bowl. For those who like trivia, name the individual who has connections to all three Big Ten teams that shared thst year’s title - Indiana, Minnesota and Purdue?

Ranking Indiana's 2023 opponents by difficulty

The rankings come from Phil Steele's Power Poll, and I generally agree withe the order. The only thing I would flip is Ohio State and Michigan. I'd also put Purdue ahead of Rutgers.

Let’s leave Indiana out of it.

Out of respect to your board let’s agree that we’ve already been told by a traveler from the future that Indiana will win at Purdue.

Your staff writers think we will be worse than Rutgers and Michigan state? Really?

I’ll pay respect and say your team all depends on Jackson. I don’t like the idea of bringing in any QB to be the guy with as little experience as he has. But if he booms instead of busts who knows. Lucas.. the front 7. Bowling is possible.

I’ve never been a believer in locksley. So if Jackson is really good that’s 5 and you’re coming into the bucket with a chance to go bowling if you haven’t already upset someone. If either Jackson OR CARD are really bad then it’s gonna get ugly.

All that said, do you the fans have us worse against the field than Rutgers and Michigan state?

And what say ye of Illinois? If Purdue didn’t exist I’d be crying overrated on the Illini.
