Season Ticket Renewal Question

Last year was our first year as ticket holders and we renewed for this coming season. I just received a letter about seat selection and when and how to log in when the time comes. We will try to improve our seats if possible and I get that we will be picking towards the end of the list due to low points but my question is around when the time comes. If we select seats, and someone with more points logs in after us could they bump you from the seats or once you select them are they yours? Second question, once you have seats if you liked them do you get first option to keep them or again, can a person with more points bump you?

We bought our tickets last year very late in the process so it was slim pickings and this is our first time through the process.

Why don’t teachers trust the experts?

This is a widespread problem in my school district. No teacher uses or teaches a textbook. Instead, they develop their own syllabus, cobble together their own materials, and as a result, I believe, teach an inferior product to our children.

Another downside: lack of transparency.

Textbooks are created by subject matter experts. They are studied and some have actual evidence to support their efficacy. Why don’t a majority of high school teachers use them?

The draft

Just wondering if there have been any other years where no IU players were drafted? I am sure it may have happened once or twice before but it is apparent why we lose to OSU, Michigan and Penn State almost yearly. Just look at the talent disparity. Truthfully, I doubt if having a lot of transfers from James Madison will make much of a difference but of course I hope I am wrong.

OT: Colts draft grades

For me it looked liked the Colts were still looking for the next Dwight Freeney when they picked up the UCLA edge. Looks like the overall average is B++

Sources: Indiana is expected to complete its roster by filling the final towo open spots with Ukrainian big man Nikita Konstantynovskyi and Alex Hemingway.

Jim works for Rivals.

(He misspelled Hemenway if are lookingfor who he's talking about)

If this is true then we really did hit a homerun this off season. Coach has to get these pieces to work together but he gets an A for team composition.

Rutgers @ IU, Game 3: IU gets the sweep with an 18-6 run-rule win...

This game is on BTN.

It's RHP Ty Rybarczk on the mound for IU with and ERA of 5.19 in 17.1 IP and a WHIP of 1.44 with an OB of .274. The batting order is the same as yesterday with the exception of Oliver at the No. 9 spot and Sefcik at the No. 7 spot as the DH.

RHP Christian Coppola is on the mound for Rutgers with an ERA of 6.80 in 42.1 IP and a WHIP of 1.72 with an OBA of .255.

It's 73 with a breeze out to CF at 10 to 15 mph.

1st inning:
T1st:

Rybarczk walked the leadoff hitter to start the game on a 3-1 count. He then got a DP ball for two outs, and then a K to retire the side.

B1st:

Taylor led off and he flied out, and Pyne then flied out for two outs.

A pitch which would have been ball 4 to Mitchell, hit him in the foot to put him on with two outs and Cerny up.

Cerny reached on an infield hit with Mitchell taking 3rd and two outs with Brenczewski up, and he grounded out to end the inning.

End of 1st: IU 0 RU 0

IU Softball

Is tied for 4th … I think .720 will get them in post season play.

2025 Recruiting Roundup Braylon Mullins, Malachi Moreno, and Trent Sisley

Indiana Elite was in action today going 2-0 at the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield. Braylon Mullins is going to make a fine collegiate PG. He can handle the ball, use the dribble drive to score at the rim, he can shoot, has some hops, Malachi Moreno had a block party in both games. Trent Sisley got most of his points in the paint today.

What are the chances of this trio going to the same school? It might be better than you think. With Indiana stockpiling their 2024-25 roster with an abundance of better players than last season, it will have an impact on the decisions made by these three. As long as things go well for the Hoosiers next season, Indiana might be back in the game. Mullins told me there have been discussions regarding the three going to the same school and that they are trying to schedule a visit together. He also told me that he "might" have visits in July at Michigan, Wisconsin, and Virginia.

The Roster is still not full. Shooter Alex Hemenway to Vandy, Nikita Konstantanovskyi?

There is no more room at the inn and the IU inn is packed. What a way for Indiana to complete their roster. Newburgh, Indiana's Alex Hemenway is a Clemson transfer and a lethal 3 point shooter and athlete if healthy. He is a career 43% 3-pt shooter on 124 of 289 career attempts. How in the hell did Indiana pass on him the first time, oh yeah, the great basketball mind of Archie Miller. If he stays healthy, this dude has game and experience.
