Fascism is a term of art . . . and is often misused when authoritarianism or totalitarianism is what is intended, because of Nazi Germany's blending of the facets of all three. Stalin's USSR was similar in its authoritarianism and totalitarianism, but its economic philosophy was different from that of fascism.
Both Mussolini and Franco called themselves, their philosophy and their followers Fascist. The Nazis were more an amalgamation, but Mussolini referred directly to the (Roman) Imperial symbol (Fascis) of dictatorial power. When Mussolini split from Italian socialism over the issue of Nationalism and Military might, the key component was the restoration of Italy's Colonial Empire. That's why prior to any overt military moves from Germany, Italy was already attacking Libya, Ethiopia etc...

Careful friend. Socialist is in the Nazi acronym. Them’s your cousins.
Blame Marketing . . . .
The term Nazi was not appreciated by Hitler, because it was derogatory and slang for the Bavarian peasant name of Ignatius, basically calling someone unintelligent and clumsy.. National Socialism in Germany had little in common with traditional "leftist" socialism, but was rooted in the foundations of fascism and authoritarianism, with core beliefs in nationalism, xenophobia and totalitarianism.

Nationalsozialist is actually one word in German, and it basically means serving one's own country only. The Nazi era anthem was Deutschland Uber Alles, but the prevailing sentiment and party motto was also Alles fur Deutschland. The supremacy of Hitler/Germany was everything. The acronym for the Party was NSDAP, and it was the regime's critics (not fellow Nazis) who referred to Party members as "Nazis".

There were some Nazis who were more traditionally leftist, and who wanted to focus more on the German laborer, and on wealth redistribution. They also liked beating up Jews in the middle of the street. They were just as awful as the more Hitlerite Nazis. But they did exist.

Hitler took care of them.

If you’re a conservative Republican on here you have to defend yourself as libs like yourself stick the racist tag on you automatically.

You’re right about my county but there are kids in my county that need help. There are also kids in Evansville, Marion and Ft Wayne that can use assistance.

Come on down to Washington sometime and we’ll head down the road to Evansville Bosse and I can introduce you to some folks. Maybe you can help out if you’ve fixed everything in Indy.
Why do you have to defend yourself?

Nobody's forcing you to do so.

“Donald Trump and the Maga Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic” . . . “MAGA Republicans pose a clear and present danger” . . .“It’s in our hands, yours and mine, to stop the assault on American democracy”
