whoever is doing this can probably take the financial hit of getting fired, and doing the right thing, if it truly is the right thing, sometimes requires some degree of sacrifice.
that said, whistle blowers also need protection from the criminal system, and criminalizing whistle blowing is one of the most egregious and traitorous policies that can ever be.
