Woodward book on Trump

Who is Bob Bloody Woodward anyway, some small-time two-bit hack who couldn't make it at the failing corrupt Amazon Post.
What has he ever done -- unlike not like President Donald D Trump. A self-made billionaire who gives up his celery for charity. Rags to Riches success story.

I think he followed people around waiting to take coffee orders.

the deep throats needs to step forward, otherwise the whole thing loses credibility no matter if true or not.

Trump has a right to face his accusers as well.

and keeping one's job shouldn't trump full disclosure, especially if security really is at issue.

tapes emerging to bail out someone's secrecy can't always or even usually be counted on.

and absent full disclosure, national security interests and personal opinions on what's best, get muddled.

whoever is doing this can probably take the financial hit of getting fired, and doing the right thing, if it truly is the right thing, sometimes requires some degree of sacrifice.

that said, whistle blowers also need protection from the criminal system, and criminalizing whistle blowing is one of the most egregious and traitorous policies that can ever be.

I plan to read it soon. I bet it's like a trashy novel. ;)

I think its trashy and lots of funny SMH moments. But at night I bet you will be driven to drinks to calm yourself down after the impact of the entire picture gets painted in your mind.
Like Woodward said, we better hope there isn't some major crisis. Let's hope he is the luckiest POTUs in terms of crisis ever.

Anyone got the book yet?
Yep, downloaded the day it was available. Reading another one at the same time, so taking it slowly. But just the first part is astonishing, or would be if we already didn’t know about him. When he meets with Bannon and he tells him he has to be pro choice and he immediately says he can be, even though he never has been. When he lies about his voting record and donations and is stunned that they question him about it and don’t just accept his word. So obvious the man has gotten through his entire life blatantly lying about things and most of his cohorts have been too intimated to call him on it. The man simply has no conscience whatsoever.

just finished the book. It’s a fascinating read. Title could just as easily been “Anger” because we know members of Congress know this book accurately reports on the Trump White House and they are doing nothing about it.

A bit redundant but as was reported in the Book:

Former national security adviser H.R. McMaster on Tuesday defended his ex-White House colleague Gary Cohn for removing a trade-related document from President's Trump.
"I know about that incident and that was wholly appropriate for Gary Cohn, who was a wonderful public servant and a great colleague, to do," McMaster said during an appearance an event held by Perry World House in Philadelphia.
