Not sure it's Woodson's fault. At critical times IU just didn't play with composure. That's on the players.

Tight game. Missed free throws, TOs and allowing ORBs makes the difference today.

What talent do we have on the bench other than an injured X? Gunn, Banks, Leal, Buelller, Buelller, Bueller?
Typical. Convene a Negative Nancy Whine and Cheese Club party after a loss and disappear after a win.

I actually thought Woody had a damn good game plan against the #2 team in the country. He didn’t miss 7 FT’s and multiple opportunities at the offensive end. Refs didn’t cost us the game but they sure didn’t help either.

Negative Nancies have lower expectations and care less than other fans.
Agree on playing too quick. That happens when you play 2 true freshman and 2 true sophomores. Mbako’s foul trouble hurt us. Banks didn’t play well off the bench imo. Kansas is a really good team. Play like that or better the rest of the year and we win a ton of games.

This is the best it gets for IU basketball under Woody. Boneheaded mistakes. Meltdowns. Players with no business playing minutes.
Kansas was beatable today…..with a better coach at the helm. But by all means, throw the ticker tape parade and crack open the champagne. It’s a big achievement for little IU and it’s mid major mindset.
I don't enjoy losses - that's what your club does. I have high expectations for this team and fully expect they will be in their third straight NCAA tournament this spring.
Boneheaded plays! Meltdowns! If I hadn't watched the game I would have thought the Hoosiers just lost by 30 points from reading these comments.

I agree with you. I actually think we will make the tournament with the big ten being down this year. Kansas’s experience hurt us down the stretch, and with this game and Auburn both teams played smothering defense for which we struggled to adapt. These type of games are going to help IU grow up and teach them they need to battle the entire 40 minutes.
We need help from the bench. Banks and Gunn have to find their footing or we will be in trouble. The lack of guards will hurt us this year. It sucks we lost today, but there are a lot of positives to take away.

Unforced errors, terrible free throw shooting, bad outside shooting. If not for Galloway’s epic day we aren’t in this game. I will say that the fellows play hard.
