Planning to head to game for first time in many years with a couple of families Saturday. Are special tickets or passes needed for tailgating? Any pointers on best spots, etc?

Tailgating can happen anywhere, but if you want to park anywhere near the stadium you will need a parking pass in advance for that particular lot. Much different now than in the old days when same-day cash parking was available in several stadium lots. If you plan to tailgate within walking distance of MS, you need to check with the athletic dept. asap to get a parking pass. If they are sold out, you need to check the brokers' sites to try and find one. Unless you can meet up with somewhere with the seller in advance, you will need to have it express mailed to you. Only the actual pass is accepted, no digital or printed passes are recognized or valid.

I think that is true. I went to the IU site and no link to buying parking passes for WKU.

I scored a couple of passes for the grass lots, tips or pointers on which ones if any are preferred? I’m coming from the south & the group we’re meeting from the north…
