Rare earth minerals are an input in many high tech and every day devices. A larger and more stable supply of rare earth minerals lowers input costs resulting in lower prices for consumers (aka you and me).
I swear some of you have made it to adulthood and have not taken a single Econ class.

I was going to minor in business at IU and after microecon said F this. When i see economists who are supposedly experts continually fail in their predictions I realize that nobody truly understand all this theoretical gibberish when it enters the real world with humans and emotions
Many elements of the world revolves around Supply and Demand. Interpretation is the hard part.
Much of academia’s purpose is to teach logic, reasoning and critical thinking. How people apply those principles dictates success - though one does not need to attend college to develop and master such skills.
Even grad-level finance classes don’t understand how things actually work in practice.

Zelensky met with Senator Chris Murphy before the show down in the oval office on Friday. Murphy convinced Zelensky to reject Trump‘s rare earth minerals deal, which would have ended the war, rebuilt Ukraine, established a US presence in Ukraine to deter Russia and secured those resources against potential control by Russia or China. But NO, the Democrats needed to make Trump look like a bully on their propaganda platforms so they didn’t mention the Murphy meeting. Democrats are the enemy of America.
