That was fun. I watched it in public w 50/50 IU PU fans. Boilers were getting kinda cocky at the end of the 1st, taunting the crowd, etc. Or, it looked like it.

No offense, but you’re a huge toolbox. You constantly talk about them as little brother yet here you are bringing up their loss from two years ago. They have a national championship game since then and you’re still living in the past.
We played well in the second half today and beat their ass. Stick to that. Bringing up the past is embarrassing when we haven’t done shit.
Woody beat IOWA last year. NW and UCLA are the only two B1G teams Woody failed to beat (with WASH and ORE still to play).
Team has been all over the place the last two years. I still believe we have the talent to make a run in March.

In 15 tourney appearances Purdue under Painter while being a five seed or higher, has lost to a double digit seed 5 times. 33%. There is no bigger March choke artist in coaching.
Knight always said win the first 5 minutes of each half. Man, did we come out of the lockeroom on fire. Not a lot of "little brother" cheering after that!
That's the flaw in recruiting a team full of high floor/low ceiling players. Great for December championships, but teams with actual talent eventually pass them in proficiency. And 33% of the time Painter just shits the bed against trash teams.. One of the worst tourney coaches in history.
This current team lacks in speed/athleticism and that was very apparent today. Another double digit early loss coming? 33% chance.

Their huge flaw with this team is they only have 2 players. It’s not like ghey ass Loyer is beating anybody. Furst has been a bust. We should have won in west layfette.
Actually only half are doing that. The other half are blaming the refs and the Hall of Calls syndrome.
Refs don’t cause a 28-3 run.

Looks like TKR and Braden maybe running out of gas: you can only put so many hard miles on a horse. Painter doesn't appear to play the NIL and portal game: he may be left in the past.
I was amazed to see IU's defense shut them down in the 2nd half: WTF! IU's guards have pretty much always been an issue with Woody. If Rice, Leal, and Trey are repeatedly stealing your lunch money, something ain't right. TKR didn't do much 2nd half, either.
Purdue had a good number of fans there today. I thought Michigan brought a lot but PU had them beat. At halftime they were high-fiving as they passed each other while yelling, “Boiler up!”
