Hey It's not like one of his Players posed voluntarily for a picture on a Sorority Fund Raising Calendar. That would be a program Death Sentence Violation.
They're doing what every university does, self-impose some penalties in hopes it will persuade the NCAA to impose lesser penalties than they would if they showed no contrition at all. The NCAA will likely add onto the self-imposed penalties.
UofL also has that hanging over their heads and I think it's really hurt their recruiting. UofL will be much better off when the NCAA finally gets around to imposing their penalties. It's ridiculous that it's taking them so long in every case related to the Adidas shoe scandal.
It’s because they are so far removed from reality. The NCAA has no sense of itself. Gets its arse handed to it regularly. They literally burned their handbook.
