I’ve always wondered what is the safest state to live in? It’s pretty hard to avoid natural disasters. I mean you live on the east coast you’ve got Hurricanes, Tornados in the south and Midwest. Drought, fires and earthquakes and mudslides out west. Where we going? Idaho?

We have no issues in arizona and a 2.5 percent income tax.

We had a younger assistant football coach. He thought he was super cool. He drove a Fiero. We bought a bunch of garage bags of concession stand popcorn and dumped them in his open sunroof. It was a wonderful prank.

HOWEVAH, he knew that a few of us also worked at the local full service cash wash. So he cleared out enough popcorn for him to drive it over for us to clean. Looking back, I still believe it was worth it.

We just drove to Columbus, IN. My goodness, Brown County is under water. It is incredible. Another good rain and we may have to go back via Indy.

Local news said Franklin had 7.8 inches as of this morning. Looks like we are about to begin another 12+ hours of continuous rain. My sump pump has been working overtime.

Our sump pump died a month ago. Lasted 12+ years, which is above average. I wrote a replace date on the output pipe for the new one so I don’t forget to replace it in about 8 years. Too much damage if it fails
