We learned one thing today

I'm not OSU. I'm Northwestern and you're in for a rude awakening on 11/23.

So, since you blew out Nebraska and OSU struggled with them, I imagine you're going to give me points if I take that crappy OSU team. How many are you giving me?
Well welcome to the rest of the B1G. That west division with games in the 12-14 point total range sure brought eyeballs to the conference. The west teams got a rude awakening this year.

What I learned from the game yesterday is . . . I'm Pavlov's dog; when IU got down 10-0 my IU football conditioning kicked in and I was getting anxious about the outcome of the game. This IU team does not panic, does not roll up the tent, and continues to play the most fundamentally sound football I've ever witnessed from an IU team. I certainly hope, much like our NW visitor's thinking in the post above, that OSU is thinking exactly like that poster and fully conditioned to handily defeating IU every season. Perhaps the team getting the eye opener will not be IU.

One thing I have not learned is why IU isn’t the cfb story of the year.
Great post and question! My best guess, other teams (and the networks that support them) feel entitled to that story every year. We have to fight for that narrative. Oregon is in the same league and number one. We got to beat OSU for that to happen is my thought. If we can do that, we will be the talk of the season heading into the B1G championship game against Oregon. Can't believe I'm writing this post. Go Hoosiers! Too cool!

First, I'm calling BS on your claim. You've been knob-slobbering all over the Buckeyes on here the last couple of days. Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall seeing anything from you the week of Northwestern. I'm pretty sure you're a Buckeye troll.
Secondly, I'm not interested in wagering or having any other contact with you. I'm here to interact with other good Hoosier fans. As far as I'm concerned, you can wander back to Buckeye land and pound sand. Besides, I don't want to take your allowance for cutting the grass and feeding the dog. Move along and get your homework done so you don't get in trouble with the teacher tomorrow.

Go ask Cig if he thinks his team can’t beat Ohio State. The coaching mismatch between Cig and Ryan Day is as wide as the Pacific Ocean.

Why the hell is a lowly Northwestern fan trolling our board? There is a lot of jealousy in opposing fanbases for what Cig is doing. IU beat Michigan State on the road by 37 and could have won by 50. Oregon beat them by 21 at home.

Their defense is - by far - their strength and are projected to have 9 players drafted off the defense in next year's draft. Believe it, Indiana's offense will see pressure when they play OSU. Their OL - decimated by injuries - is their weakness. And the game is at OSU which will be deafening,
Well, you can yak up O$U all you want, but I’m telling you that I am very excited to see how this IU team does against them in that game. Fun to be able to look forward to it in excited expectation!

The scuttlebutt going around in Columbus Ohio is they will buy out Coach Cig's contract (27M) & assistants & replace Ryan Day!
