Of the 5 guys on the floor at the end of the game, 4 had double digit scoring nights and 1 had zero. The guy with zero points rec'd the inbound and didn't look for anyone else. That tells you everything you need to know about the leadership of the team and how not close they really are.

I mean, really? You couldn't call a timeout in time? The official had already gone by? Isn't the offensive basket on the same side of the court for the team in the second half? Is anyone really buying this bullsh!t?

There is a reason this team panics and collapses late in games. They are not really that close.

I seem to recall people arguing that it was a huge mistake for CMW to call timeout late in the game to set up a play when Rice, our primo ballhandling should have been allowed to drive to the bucket.

...of course, the other side of this is in both games, Rice made what turned out to be a bad attempt at making the game winner. Part of me appreciates a guy who isn't afraid, and wants those big moments, the other "arrrrrggghhhh noooooooo"

He needs to work on understanding that well defended shots are always lower percentage shots.

Our team has talent. That alone has won some games and might win a few more. But to really be good we need coaching , an identity and more heart. Hard to see those things developing at this stage but you never know.

I’m not a huge Woody supporter. I’ve been very critical, but at the end of the day, you can’t deny that we’re not close to being on the NCAA tournament. At that point, it’s a crap shoot.

I can tell you that despite this past game being close, Woody may have 3 wins left in him (max) including the BTT. So, does 17-15 get us in? I don’t see it. But, guess we’ll see.
The guy should have been canned last year.
