Here's a song Springsteen wrote about his first visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) back in the 90s.Never officially released prior to it's inclusion on his most recent album-High Hopes.

The inspiration is actually a guy he played with in his first band,and a couple of older guys from his home area who were rock stars that he idolized growing up.There names are all included on The Wall...
