It’s not your life anymore and this country is far ahead of the other post slavery countries. You do not know the history, For Example, after playing football against a predominately white high school, we were stopped, our bus was blocked by a white mob, and Both sides of the street were filled with people yelling ni**** go home. The police were called but none of the town police showed up. I will not name the cities involved. The police from our city came out and escorted our bus out. Rocks, bricks, and ice cream were thrown at our bus. I have a lot of stories of racism that happen to me personally. These are not from a book I read or saw on TV. This is my life, I'm sharing it with you guys. I should have hatred in my heart but I don't. Jesus and being a Christian have helped calm the hate . I remember everything that has happened to me but I will not forget.
You don’t have another retort to the statistics?Asshole
What year did Elmhurst close? I lived near Fort Wayne and it seems like I had heard of it before. My high school closed too. I went to Elmhurst in Fort Wayne.
It was outdated with no ac, only had one filler middle school and the parking lot was 100 yards from a rock quary.
There wasn't going to be enough money to make that school a success, not with the student population the way it was. The city was expanding and kids weren't going to go to a outdated, hot school when there were newer, more modern schools around.

I don’t think we have a structural problem. We have a people problem. We have too many members of congress who are low achieving power hungry, corrupt, extreme ideologues, or just simple morons. The Deep State is pretty much the same. Nobody gives a rats ass about what’s good for the country, it’s all about personal power, influence and control. And this is at all levels of government, and is even worse at the local levels.

Because history is all bullshit we have this romantic view of our founding fathers who were in all likelihood no better than the jamokes we have today.I was recently reading a book about Thomas Jefferson's admin recently.... I'm not sure a lot of govt actors were all that much better during that era.
Then we had a whole long period of time during the Spoils Era that lasted from the 1820s all the way until 1880s. Was it's own hot mess.
Your bullshit really really really needs it to be. But it ain’t.fake news
Doesn't change the fact you're lying. The sad thing about your liar comment is it's 2024 and there are still people yelling ni****, ni****, ni**** and still hanging black people. Yeah, we live in a racist society.
I think it's safe to say, based on the Constitution they wrote, that the founding fathers were a helluva lot better than what we've got today.Because history is all bullshit we have this romantic view of our founding fathers who were in all likelihood no better than the jamokes we have today.
No, I am not . I have nothing to prove to you. In my lifetime, I saw a burning cross not from a book or TV. A real live burning cross in the state of Indiana. Danc you know shit. You are a closet racist.Doesn't change the fact you're lying.
I just want to know the city you claimed the police wouldn't protect you in when you played football there. No, I am not . I have nothing to prove to you. That is your choice, but if you think or use your head you could guess.I just want to know the city you claimed the police wouldn't protect you in when you played football there.
Simple question you won't answer. Until you do, I'll continue to think you're a liar and a fraud.

@stollcpa. No interaction. No content. Just drive by personal attack. AlwaysDANC may indeed be privileged but I highly doubt he is blessed.
CoH, presume you are including state and local governments. In terms of affecting my everyday life, I have always said we underestimate the influence and power of these governments. The bigger and more powerful government becomes, the more government legalized corruption and incompetence matters.
I’ve seen some lousy streets/roads in various cities/towns, but Indy’s are by far the worst. And it’s not localized to a few areas from what I can tell. It seems to be all over, as if the city/county has been totally negligent for years. I don’t know what they’re spending your tax dollars on but it sure ain’t maintaining, repairing and repaving the streets.CoH, presume you are including state and local governments. Everything from my garbage collection, my utility rates, the streets I drive in, my property taxes, home nursing care for my friends, etc. are influenced by state and local government.
In listening to the six primary Republican Indiana candidates for governor (one of which will be the governor come the fall election) their agendas all appear to include more government intervention, not less.
Their promises include disrupting the lives of scores of Indiana National Guard families by sending them to our Southwest border, deporting immigrants, interfering with what local schools teach, plans to somehow revive small rural communities, finding homes for 13,000 children without parents, preventing crime from invading the suburbs from cities.
Recently family members from four cities (Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, Grand Rapids) visited Indianapolis to celebrate my birthday. One of the members found their car completely disabled by a pothole. The accident completely disrupted the entire weekend. The family suggested our local government might take a more active intervention in repairing our streets.
Try living in black neighborhoods. They are always the last to be fixed.I’ve seen some lousy streets/roads in various cities/towns, but Indy’s are by far the worst. Indy actually likes their roads with all the potholes evidently, they voted Hogsett back in as Mayor.I’ve seen some lousy streets/roads in various cities/towns, but Indy’s are by far the worst. It doesn't work that way currently you mean. And that's why it's going to go belly up.It doesn't work that way. Social Security isn't and never has been an investment program. It's a generational transfer of wealth program, plain and simple. The Greatest Generation came up with it for themselves and the Boomers are now the beneficiaries.

Unbelievable, isn't it? Of course, the Republicans run a dimwit against him (from what I can tell - I don't live in Indiana any more, so I don't know the candidates - just from what I get on social media, mainly).Indy actually likes their roads with all the potholes evidently, they voted Hogsett back in as Mayor.
No they didn't. The greatest generation was born in the 1920s. SS was conceived and implemented by the generation before that.It doesn't work that way. Was listening to Coleman Hughes the other day and he raised a point that I found extremely interesting. It’s not your life anymore and this country is far ahead of the other post slavery countries.
Prior to North American slavery, slavery itself was just a fact of life the world over. I suppose we think of it because it was unique to North America, although native Americans practiced slavery among themselves (gasp!).Was listening to Coleman Hughes the other day and he raised a point that I found extremely interesting.
If someone says the word "war" no one views that term as identifying a specific war or conflict. There have been many wars.
If someone says the word "famine" similarly we don't tend to attribute that to any particular famine. Famine is a phenomenon that has happened since as long as there has been food.
But if someone says the word "slavery" most in this country attribute that to a very specific form of slavery (ie the North American slave trade).
Why is that?
Slavery still is a fact of life all over the world.Prior to North American slavery, slavery itself was just a fact of life the world over. I suppose we think of it because it was unique to North America, although native Americans practiced slavery among themselves (gasp!).
I equate Slavery to growing up on the farm with my Dad.Was listening to Coleman Hughes the other day and he raised a point that I found extremely interesting.

Your comment brought back memories. My brother and grandmother just got their street paved 2023. B4 that it was red dirt. WHY did they just get paved you asked ? White companies are buying up all the land around the black farmers. My brother is not selling. You guys think . I'm talking out of my head. Let's just say there are rich, greedy, and terrible money grabbers out there. Once the black families sell, they will never see that land again they are building 750k to a million dollars homes When I was young it was all farmland.. My grandfather bought b4 the turn of the century. The hometown In my youth had a section called The Patch where 85% of the black folks resided.
The streets were all dirt. After a rainstorm the mud could be smoothed out thus removing the ruts and potholes.
Only visited The Patch once with one of my black friends. Felt as if I had gone to a distant third world country. Upon leaving I erased the memory as if I had never been there. Treated it as a bad dream.
