Give me the names beyond Race or Trace that would find their way into any other starting lineup in the conference?
Those two have talent to play in the B1G.
The rest of these guys wouldn’t be the 6th or even 7th guy off the bench at other programs.
It’s all just a bunch of preseason hype. Bates is “1 and done.” Right.
He’ll be 1-and-done at IU when he hits the transfer portal this spring.
Stewart is supposed to be a sharpshooter. Kid isn’t interested in playing hard. He’s not an option. Xavier is out of control most games. Leal is Univ of Indy material. Geronimo shows flashes and then disappears. Lander - looks very uncomfortable playing, like this is his first season of organized basketball.
The list goes on and on and Woody needs big time talent to win at a consistent level for IU.
People pinning their hopes on Kopp and Durr to provide anything to the team was simply wishful thinking.
iU is going to wind up just like they usually do, unfortunately. Somewhere in the 10-14 spot, a blowout loss in the BIG tourney and then a loss somewhere in the NIT 2nd round. That’s IU basketball these days. Hey, at least with the NIT we might get to see them a few more times at home.
