No video games. I’ll go with the board. I probably need a gf. Someone to help. Daughter is now totally useless.Kiddie Peloton?
Those were actually some of my favorite times. Build blanket forts, play pirates or cowboys and indians (cancelled!), hide & seek, read to him, watch sports with him, build with legos, make movies together (have him write the script), etc.My house is like the Marinovich project. Not only is he on a club team already he gets private training twice a week on top of it. He runs nonstop.

I'd still make him nap, though. Don't lose that precious time!
I play futsal tonight. Love itFutsal leagues! He can handle it!
But, seriously, I get it. The next couple of months are going to be a parental nightmare.
Army men were the best growing up. My dad would get so pissed: I'd have the entire basement floor covered with a giant battle of green v. gray, and of course Navarone with its cannons on top in the back. Those were the days. I had suction cup arrows to launch with my bow, cap guns, a tomahawk, indian headress, cowboy hat...
I did find they still have some Cowboys and Indians and Army figures on Amazon and got a bucket of each of my middle kid. He likes them actually and used them for a while.
He’s at the point where naps are coming to an end. That’s 3 hours of bliss that’ll have to be filled
Bwahahahaha I remember those days. Who wants dad’s milkshakes?!!!!!! And mommy and daughter get that special ingredient crushed in them
If that doesn't work, then this mixed with some juice:

Get him a good baseball glove. Hit grounders to him until your hands are bleeding. Take him to a batting cage a pitch to him from behind a screen. Plunk him a couple of times so he’ll get used to it and won’t be a baby at the plate. Teach him the real and ultimate American sport. No video games. I’ll go with the board. I probably need a gf. Someone to help. Daughter is now totally useless.
Says the guy who is already getting up at 4:30 am.Get him into swimming lessons.
After he's done, you just might get a nap out of him.
That and an HO slot car set, which you can expand, landscape around and build buildings throughout and fill the basement.Maybe you should get this for Christmas:
For your son, of course. Not anyone else . . .

They’re still around. We have this magnet building thing. It’s annoyingI also had Lincoln logs. Used to build stuff with both for my train layout.
Let’s be honest here. At this point we would just use it to serve drinks.I always wanted the big train set but never had the space or the time and eventually grew out of it. Now, I watch Youtube videos about these crazy ****ers and their ridiculous setups. I'll only have that kind of time again in retirement but, by then, I won't be able to see shit.
I took my minion to the train show last year. Men dressed like conductors. Insanely elaborate sets. Working tornados and shit. My minion. I play with that? I play with that?
