vacation help

Wife and I are looking for somewhere to go in May. Needs to warm. Recently been to Charleston, Destin...need some good ideas. Help OTF'ers.

Sanibel Island and Captiva (Florida Gulf Coast) are worth looking into. Beaches are great for shelling.

Guatemala City, Mexico City, Austin, St Pete, West Palm, Miami


I've been to all these places (including Charleston) within the last couple months and I'd recommend all of em. Bonus points for doing them in the order listed

but I would go for Dubrovnik. Cool city, tons of interesting stuff to see and nice, non-US type beaches.

In I'd add San Diego. Out one of my favorite warm weather visits was Costa Rica.

If you just wanna relax I would do Barbados/StLucia/Antilles

then there's Thailand if you're wanting something more exotic

As a tourist, I highly recommend Italy. You gotta visit Rome, Tuscany and Venice at some point in your life
