I've enjoyed watching the Open this year with the American men and women doing very well.

Couldn't help but notice Taylor Fritz (a S.D. native) has a healthy resemblance to our own hoopster Trey Galloway. What do you think?

I've been watching too, but you've been doing it better! Strangely, I think his GF is going to console me in a few minutes!

Sabalenka appears to be a beast and has been mowing through people. Not sure how she's not #1 in the world, but assume that will happen after this tourney.

An American man has not won a major since 2003-the last 20 years have been dominated by Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. Fritz or Tiafoe will have a chance to end that on Sunday.

Sabalenka is a best indeed-I think she'll beat Pegula.

Yep, Big Foe looked unbeatable early.. props to Fritz for hanging in there and plugging away!

Nice to have an American in both men's and women's finals. Been a long time.

Sinner crushes Fritz and the US drought continues.

I thought it was kind of a bizarre match. Fritz seemed totally content to pound groundstrokes up the middle, w Sinner despite that seemingly playing to Sinner's strengths and I felt losing a majority of those rallies. Sabalenka didn't look as dominant in the finals, but still had enough to take out Pegula. Enjoyable tournament, but both finals were a bit anti-climactic I thought.
