Unintelligent, soft, lazy, and poorly coached.

Top 25? 2nd in the Big Ten? My @ss…
I’m confused. Beat the spread by a lot. Shot 52%, 47% from 3, over 80% at the line. Outrebounded them and 11 turnovers. Very physical game but I’m not exactly sure what we’re complaining about. I guess maybe not putting them away when we had the chance, but I liked much of what I saw.

Well, keyboard coaches are the smartest coaches.

Gotta agree. Pretty good game overall. No need to pick this one apart.

Balanced scoring. Ballo was very active down low. Got up and down. Hit shots. Didn't force too much.

There were miscues still but a pretty good win and SC had a lot of size and talent. Pringle was exceptional in the tourney last year, for example.

Lots of self-delusion all over the place here. Or maybe this fan base has just been dumbed down by so many years of futility. You have to know what you’re seeing from this team right now isn’t quality basketball. My prediction for the Bahamas? We might beat Louisville. Don’t expect much else…

It's the opposite. People are watching, and many are optimistic about the improvement and looking forward to more basketball.

And then there are others that are "dumbed down" by feelings and negativity.

A question for Cananagh! In another thread you said that South Carolina’s backcourt was bad. Yesterday South Carolina got nothing out of their front court. The were carried by their backcourt. What is your take,
1. SC’s backcourt is much better than you thought.
2. IU’s backcourt is much worse than all of us think.
3. Mike Woodson’s defense can’t guard the 3.
4. SC just played far better than expected.
5. Wisconsin’s jinx lives on through Lamont Paris.

Me, I go with door #1, and a healthy kick of #3.

I'll be objective about them.
And I'm a move on from Woodson..
But I've never ever been against winning...
Solid win yesterday ...
agreed. And yesterday I thought SC looked poorly coached in comparison.
It was good to see Kanaan find a little offense. Good to see 5 guys in double figures. Good to not turn it over and maintain a lead. Could have been worse

So be specific. What exactly were your problems with the game yesterday? What shows that the team is unintelligent, lazy, soft, and poorly coaches?

Lemme see now…
Still can’t defend the perimeter. Lucked out on that front since South Carolina is such a poor three point shooting team. The offense, Woodson’s offense, still stagnates for prolonged periods of time every game. In spite of what was said prior to the season, more often than not we’re still forcing the ball down low on most possessions. We hardly ever run anything to get a perimeter shot. Bigs still turn into double teams and force up shots rather than consistently kicking it out. Just too much standing around on offense in general. These are recurring systemic problems at this point that have never and probably will never be fixed by Woodson. That’s not even mentioning the inexplicable substitutions in the first half.

The team won’t play with consistent effort. They could have put South Carolina away multiple times and never really did. Some on here and elsewhere have built SC up like this was an impressive win when in reality it was a win over a mediocre team that will probably finish at the bottom of the SEC and definitely doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of qualifying for the tournament. People aren’t looking at this IU team with clear eyes yet. If they meet expectations this season I’ll be genuinely shocked….

When he does that give him a cracker for being a good parrot. Don't ignore the irony of a cracker getting a cracker while you do it.

That dude is weird AF, I avoid him like ... he's weird AF... because he's weird AF.
