trump is cleaning out of all the traitors

Addition by subtraction.

They'll both end up with lucrative gigs at CNN or MSNBC. Shed no tears for these two.
They will get rewarded for doing the right thing. It’s disgusting that Trump is doing this to people who followed the law and told the truth. These people now can actually speak out about all the other things they know.

Recall how upset the Republicans were about the head on a pike comment? They all, each and every one , had to know this was coming. Trump is the most thin skinned and vindictive SOB on the planet.

I'm sure they'll land on their feet. However, I do hope they aren't being McCabe'd.

Probably. You have to be a traitor to be a regular on the republican news network (Fox). Like Oliver North or G Gordon Liddy. Being a full on racist doesn’t hurt either, just ask Mark Fuhrman.

Using racist makes you look mentally deficient;)

More saran wrap than teflon Don.

Despise and detest, one each for Trump and Collins, but which fits whom?

Trump is pathological, Collins, political and stupid.

COLLINS should’ve stood up. Because she’s likely to lose either way.

now, she’s not going to sleep well at night. She knows better. She did herself no favors.

She won 70% of the vote last time.... and she can't afford to lose the GOP base if she's going to win again.

The GOP Senators had a Sophie’s choice. Moderates hate Trump and won’t vote for his enablers. MAGA base destroy anyone not following The Leader. The vulnerable GOP Senators made the decision to lean into Trumpism and hope the MAGAs can get them over the line. It was purely a political calculation and it will be interesting to see how it turns out come November.

Collins has the highest disapproval rating of any Senator, even Moscow Mitch, which is hard to believe. She’s likely gone either way. I’d prefer to go with a clear conscience, but that’s just me.

First Colonel Vindman and now Ambassador Sondland. It's Bloody Friday at the WH.

If you're not loyal to the Reich, you gotta go.

Vindman is a chickenshit. He's no hero. If he really felt that is boss was out of line, he had a professional responsibility to raise the issue in the context of his official duties. That would have been heroic. Instead he surreptitiously avoided all notice and seemingly took part in a contrived whistleblower event.

I dunno about Sondland. Based solely on the nature of his testimony, he doesn't seem to be a very competent guy.

This is low even for you. Wow.

Vindman is a high ranking officer with a White House gig. He had a very responsible job. He didn't act consistently with his responsibility. He acted like a clerk. I'd like to ask him what he thought his duties were if they didn't include raising his serious concerns with his colleagues.

The highest job in the White House belongs to a guy who drew on a NWS map with a sharpie and you think Vindmann did not act responsibly?

One has nothing to do with the other. Vindmann was there to give advice and disclose his views to policy makers. He didn’t. He apparently made no effort to shape policy in the right direction. He should be canned.

This is your guy. You own this.

Do you know he never told anyone he thought it was wrong?

CO, take a seat, I got this.

Marvin, stay focused, CO isn’t discussing fine point markers.

I might be wrong, I thought he went to the White House Counsel. I don't know if that is wrong but sounds appropriate. CO represented government entities, I cannot think he would find it wrong for someone to go to him to report misdeeds.

John McCain wasn't a hero either was he?

Stay focused. I am talking about Vindmann.

Yeah but your guy is the one who LIED about Vindman. Pretty sure Vindman testified that he spoke to others AFTER he reported his concerns to his Supervisor. How is that not doing exactly what you claim he SHOULD have done?

According to Politico, Vindman went to White House Counsel and lawyers there said he was NOT to discuss it with anyone else. I do not get what he was supposed to do differently.

Wow. Trump is rubbing off on you. That’s really embarrassing. Never thought I’d see the day where the former party of family values would consider it cool to denigrate the military and blame someone for following the law and telling the truth. Trump kills everything, including Republican’s integrity it appears. Truly pathetic.

I was just trying to put parameters on whom you consider to be a hero. I would say showing up for the hearings, honoring a subpoena knowing it might be career suicide strikes me as being heroic. I don't think people who ignore subpoenas by cowering behind executive privilege strike me as anything but cowardly.
This won't make any sense to COH or anyone else, but COH shows up at his local bar every Sunday morning for his earrings.

It seems clear the whistleblower complaint embellished the contents of the call. Vindman likely was involved with that. He is not a good guy. He’s a sneak.
