Trump indicted….again

You're not? You made a post about it and were positively giddy at the prospect of knowing his weight.

You shallowness shows through with every post you make.
You use words that kind of hint at what you're trying to say, but usually miss the mark. "Positively giddy?" Really?

Trump is a bully who bullies indiscriminately, calling out people for being overweight, unattractive or fill-in-the-blank dig. He also made it a point to needlessly lie about his weight (among many other things) during one of his presidential physicals (needlessly because everyone knows he is obese and it wasn't really an issue).

That said, I'm all for a bully and a liar of his magnitude getting a little taste of his own medicine.

At the end of the day I don't care that Trump is obese. If he could keep his mouth shut about other people, no one would ever mention it.

Whatever floats your boat.

Yeah. If he's 6'3 and 273 pounds, he's got a BMI of 34. That's obese. For a guy who's always been vain about his appearance, he's really let himself go. And that yellow comb-over is like something from a Halloween costume.

Trump should look in the mirror before calling other people out with respect to pretty much everything.

Just look how Trump has bullied two of his lawyers, Cohen and Giuliani. He held over them the threat he wouldn't pay their legal bills. Then, he didn't pay them.

No. That's now how it works.

You don't say one thing under oath and then recant it. That's called saving your ass.
I don’t think you understand what flipping means. He won’t be the only one. Once he got out from under Trump’s lawyer, his own lawyer decided it might be in his best interest to tell the truth.

So, he took back what he said before, but now he's telling the truth......

That sounds believable.
Glad you're starting to get it.

Wait until he testifies what his first lawyer (who Trump arranged and financed and who also represents Trump's valet Nauta) said to him relative to what he should say in his initial, inaccurate testimony.

That'll sound believable, too.

How credible is a witness who swears one thing one time and then changes his mind when he's threatened?

Sure, it's a flip, but it's not credible at all and any lawyer worth his salt would expose his lying.

Wait until the others decide they aren’t going to jail and they flip too. And they find out what Trump’s attorneys were telling them to do. we’ll see who is credible, but I’m betting he’s telling the truth now and will be supported by others who flip sooner rather than later. They may have figured out they don’t really want to go to jail for Trump.

Of course, that's why they indicted 19 people. They'll force them to say anything to stay out of jail. Lying? So what, if it keeps them out of jail?

That's 3rd world shit and you're too stupid to see it.

Danc clearly didn't read the article and once again has no idea what he's talking about. His understanding of the court system is likely limited to what he has seen on Judge Judy.

He probably thinks all of Trump's codefendants in the Georgia case are going to meekly plead to felonies and willingly march off to jail for lengthy prison sentences. Ha. Wait and see. They'll be flipping faster than a cook at a burger joint.

I'm really curious to see what America's [Disgraced] Mayor does. Guy's broke and desperate. He prosecuted RICO mobsters shortly after the statute was enacted. Now he's on the other side - - the bad side - - of it. He does not want to go to jail. I think he flips.

I don't know what the bottom is for you, but you look dumber with every post.

Prosecutors would have very little success in complex prosecutions without witnesses and codefendants flipping. It's something that's been around forever, but you don't see it on the People's Court or Judge Jerry (RIP).

A flipper who just says the opposite, suddenly, is useless. A flipper ready to deliver EVIDENCE that he or she is now clearly telling the truth has VALUE.

You don't cut a deal with the flipper until he/she commits to delivering significant, independently verifiable evidence.

Let flipping season begin!

I hate to break it to you, danc, but Trump's fvcked. Federal prosecutors have a conviction rate of more than 95%. You think Trump will go 2 for 2 with the feds? That's delusional.

With respect to Georgia, Willis has brought a strong case against a boatload of defendants. If Trump takes the case to trial, Willis will have a parade of witnesses, mostly Republicans, bringing your boy down. She'll also almost certainly have some of the Don's codefendants testifying against him.

Let the flipping begin.

Yes, and the best deals are usually cut early, so you can bet that the lawyers representing some of these defendants are already talking to Willis' team.

I think I read 97%

That has roughly the same odds as 90% FT shooter Steve Alford, in his prime, missing 3 straight free throws
.1 ×.1 x .1 = 1 in 1000

Trump winning 2x
.03 x .03 = 9 in 10000 = 0.9 in 1,000

Dear DANC,

You clearly don't understand how flipping works. Ask Giuliani -- he knows..

Plus, many of the other defendants (like the fake electors, the Georgia vote-counter harassers and the Mar-A-Lago property manager) are just average middle class people without a couple hundred thousand extra dollars to pay for their defense. Nor do they have status to pay for their defense through campaign funding loopholes like Trump. And, Trump won't pay the defense for all of them.

So, many of them have little other choice than to become prosecution witnesses.

Technically, he IS innocent until proven guilty.
I don’t know who or what I was responding to, but of course the charged are innocent until proven guilty. However, if the charged is truly guilty of the crime, he’s innocent in the eyes of the law until proven guilty, but if said guilty bastage claims he’s innocent he’s a lying guilty bastage, right?

Of course it’s how it works. Guilty people lie early in investigations all the time and then come clean as evidence comes forth that proves they’re lying. It happens all the time. Watch some of the thousands of crime shows available on cable or any of the streaming services. Read about just about any mafia case. Read about Giuliano’s successful prosecutions.

You’re engaging in bad faith posting again.

I'm actually willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here (if you can call it that) that it's just abject stupidity as opposed to bad faith posting. I don't think he has a clue as to how the criminal justice system works.

My favorite is when he described flipping as "third world country shit." No, danc, third world country shit is when a dictator or dictator wannabe like Trump brazenly, corruptly and illegally tries to remain in power.

A more honest take would have been something like "witness in Trump document case retracts false testimony," which happens all the time in criminal cases. I think DANC knows that because he's not stupid despite how stupid he posts about Trump related stuff, so I think it's just more bad faith posting on his part.

I’m waiting for DJT’s weight to be released. Vegas had the over/under last night at 273.5 lbs. I saw that 77% of bettors took the over. 😂
ha! honestly i bet he doesn't weigh that much. 250 was probably the better over/under. he has one of those weird bodies where he looks like he has a belt made of ferrets under his pants. and no muscle

Unbelievable. Banana republic.

???
Because he was arrested, or because the mug shot is available?

Hopefully the former, because mug shots are a matter of public record everywhere in the United States. It is pretty much a necessity based upon the Freedom of Information Act.

"If someone has been arrested, his or her arrest booking photograph (“mugshot”), the person's name, arrest date and birth date, may be posted on a publicly available commercial website. Georgia law, specifically O.C.G.A."
