Harris started out in the Alameda County DA office, then the SF county DA office.
She was elected and re-elected by the people of SF as DA, and served 7 years.
She was elected by the people of California to be Attorney General of the state of over 40 million people. She was re-elected and served 6 years.
She was then elected by the people of California to the US Senate and served for 4 years before being elected by the people of the United States as Vice President, and is currently in her 4th year in this position.
She didnāt sleep her way to the top. She did a good job and was continuously elected by the people of the state to higher positions.
I understand why people may not like her, but going just on resume, sheās at least as qualified, if not more so, to be POTUS than most every man thatās actually held the office in the last 30 years.

Not MAGA but nobody is scared of Harris, including other Democrats. She would get wiped out if the rules suddenly changed and another primary was held to replace Biden.

No, but if the election is primarily about ethics, character, morality, which many are making out to be, then itās important to look at both candidates through that lens. I donāt care about the Stormy stuff, & I donāt care how many people Harris blew, so long as it wasnāt in exchange for career advancement. BradStevens suggested that shows ambition, but in my mind it also shows someone willing to sell themselves out for personal gain. We have enough of that in govāt, including Trump. One thing is certain at this point - they really want Biden to stay in the race. It may well be they are afraid that Harris will replace Biden. Trump and his MAGA-nauts have a history of attacking those they consider threats. Examples are just about every primary candidate in 2016 and 2020, every former Trump loyalist who gets on the bad side of Trump, and every political opponent. I'd say that isn't normal behavior, but it is normal for them.
