I wonder if other playoff schools have shut down transfer visits this week? I don't know if we'll ever get an honest answer, but I wonder if in hindsight the program might rethink shutting down visits after noon on Saturday.

I was wondering if some of that staff budget increase may go to staff to help this. 'Quality control' positions or something to continue with recruiting. Cig mentioned using it for additional staff.

It's a good question. It's all hands-on deck so having them see a playoff team preparing for its run to a natty could also work in our favor.

He is currently at Incarnate Word. Know nothing about him but 3 prior colleges would present concern. A decent game against Alabama clip.
He was hurt at the start of the year at Auburn and the coach he committed to was fired after the 5th game of the year so he entered the portal. Started at TAMU the year prior and beat Bama.

Yeah, and even if he weren't, the fact that anyone would suggest that spot is our 2nd highest priority behind QB (which I'd argue isn't our biggest priority either) needs to have themselves checked into a mental institution.
