US officials are going to work with Panamanian officials to interdict asylum seekers and judge their asylum case to stay 8n Panama. If it is not deemed appropriate, they will be extradited out of Panama (I assume back south). The article says we now have a treaty with 19 countries to do this in an effort to get people stopped well south of the US.
